Doesnt matter Neil wrong sub decicion or not ,ok i know most of us think Lucas is rubbish but how do you think the lad feels when hes gonna come on an he hears boos, Crackin for his confidence , he must :censored: himself at Anfield when Rafa tells him to warm up. Ive heard other teams supporters over the years booing or geting on players backs but i never thought id live to see the day when suppossed to be Liverpool supporters done it . As far as im concerned when that player pulls a red shirt on he gets my support while hes on the pitch.

If i wanna slate him afterwards away from the ground as being sh.ite then fair enough . But not in the ground.

What do you think were showing to the rest of the prem an our owners with this unease going on . It wasnt long ago when the fans were marching in support of Rafa and now some wanna boo him in hes decision making. The yanks are gonna love that one.

we were always known as the best supporters in the world , fair, an appreciative of other teams an there players , We clapped oppo goalies at the kop end if thed had a good half. Where has that gone , . It makes us just normal fans now were we boo are own team. But them gob. :censored: should be driven out of Anfield an let the real fans back in who are gonna get behind the team.

i couldn't agree more NR, i can remember every home game when we [in the kop] anyway would always clapped the oppo keeper when he came towards the kop end, & the keeper would always clap back. it was our way of saying "we have respect for you"
but we will sing, cheer & hopefully celebrate loads of goals you fail to keep out.

like i have said, booing at any stage of a game for our beloved team is wrong, fecking wrong, even if it is about subs being made you don't agree with feck me wev'e all been there, don't agree with the descision etc but fecking cheer, sing we are supposed to be in it together, RTK was a sad era to hear for me as imho we should have never lost the voice in the first place to enable tw@ts who have no idea about the clubs history to dis-respect what we have had the in past as the best supporters in the world. please let's get the RTK  back in full flow to flush out the boo boy's & regain what it means to be a true kopite & liverpool fan.

i agree with showin dissapointment at wrong subs. goalies still get clapped regardless of displays, they are all warmly greeted at the kop end.

did anybody notice that noise when Ryan was warming up? And if 30 000 people boo, booing becomes natural

i'm not going to argue with you on this one,as i have seen & heard for myself that oppo keepers aren't warmly greeted at the kop end cause most people are more interested in using their mobile phone's etc to even know who the oppo keeper is!!

the days when liverpool fans clapped an oppo keeper even when WE were at their ground have long gone. it came to a stage where we would clap the oppo keeper before their own fans would "thats what i'm talking about" thats why we were called & respected as the best supporters in the land- eg if a team came to anfield & played out of their skins, heaven forbid & got a result -kopites would be the first to admit it, not like it but hold their hands up & say well played the oppo, not fecking boo our own for not winning that also is the difference.

It's a really huge game this, even more so than usual. It is so because of whats gone before, and the result could have a huge impact on the rest of our season. Win this, and the first thing to consider is that we'll still be top. Feck everyone else and what they do, we're still top. Equally, we give ourselves the opportunity of collecting a nice little bonus in the form of either Chelsea or the Mancs dropping points. I don't think they will, but you never know. Also it will go a long way towards putting our little bliiip back to the backs of everyones minds. There'll be plenty of "we can put all that behind us now and press on"s flying around, and rightly so.

Fail to win it though, in the form of a draw or God forbid a defeat and we will really have the look of a team which has got the wobbles. It sounds daft this, but I have absolutely no doubts whatsoever that if we don't win, BOTH Man Utd and Chelsea will. This is absolutely definately one of those where if it's 1-1 with fifteen minutes left, you've got to go all out for the win and risk losing it.

Furtunately throughout our travails (and where is that fella who was disputing with me a couple of weeks back that we weren't playing as well recently as we did against Chelsea ) our defence has remained absolutely solid. I take it to do so against Blackburn, but I also take our patchy form to continue. Thank God for Gerrard though, I think he'll score and we'll scrape home 1-0. If and when we do, can peopl refrain from moaning about how we played, because to be frank at this stage of the whole shebang, as long as we win I couldn't give a sh!t.

I don't see the point of booing players before they've even got on the pitch, boo the performance at the end if absolutely necessary. I can only guess those who boo players warming up 'think' they're sending a message to Rafa that the player isn't good enough for Liverpool. Lucas is young, far from our best player and to be honest I can't see the point in bringing him on. But if he's being brought on then get behind him and the rest of the players, use a banner with "Lucas is cr@p" on it if you want to get that through to Rafa. He is more or less a scapegoat though, it's not his fault the whole team is suffering a dip in form.

We should win this one, rovers are second bottom and their only wins in the league are Fulham (h), bitters (a) and Newcastle (a) We need to start scoring more goals, the telling stats are :

Premiership 08/09

Games : 15
Failed to score : 4 (26.6666%) - all 0-0 draws
Scored 1 goal : 4 (26.6666%) - all wins except the 1-2 at Tottenham
Scored 2+ goals : 7 (46.6666%) - won all of them

So the positive is we win 90.90% of the games in which we score at least once, the negative is that we fail to score in over 1/4 of our games so far. We've one only once in our last three visits to Ewood Park, this is an important game to win. We must resume winning ways over the xmas period
