With 3 of our players haveing suffered broken legs at Blackburn in the last 2 seasons one must wonder whats the problem? Are Blackburn a dirty team (ala Millwall) or is their pitch and absolute shocker, I haven't seen any of the injuries during play so I am unable to say myself, what do you think?

I was at BOTH Blackburn Away fixtures when Baros , Carragher and Cisse suffered broken bones. Baros 's was just a collision with Babbel who was on loan at Blackburn at the time

( New League rule is that you can;t play against the team you are loaned from anymore as of this season)

Carragher's was a shocker and Lucas Neill was given an immediate red card which says it all....

Cisse's looked like an accident and nobody to blame.

So for 2 out of 3 of the injuries it was simply bad luck but this doesn't vindicate Blackburn as a clean side . they repeateadly left the foot in tonight , were kicking anything that moved and IMO I would consider them to be an over physical side. Witrh the history with Souness adding a certain spice to the fixture last season and now that Ex Manc Mark Hughes incumbent there now it's little surprise that this fixture is hotly cemtested, that I don't have a problem with but outright foul play and late challenges are a different ball game and not one I particularly enjoy watching .....

.. the injury happened following a tussle in which Cisse was brought down.. should have been a penalty..

.. i think the team is jinxed.. Souness probably left a curse .. out of spite..

Cisse got smashed cause he is a bottle boy. He looks fragile and will not hack it in the premier league. Its too physical for him, now we've got to wait 18 months to see him reach any kind of form. thast if his career isnt now over!

believe me he will have been replaced by the end of the season.

I dont take steriods, i jst wont be patronised by a woman in a football forum, or on the road.
