We're not in 1978 anymore or 1986, we're in 2012 and it's time we got with the programme. It's time we updated ourselves, we're known as a club that lives in its past and that's not the reputation I want associated with the club I love. I want our club to continue making history by being as successful as possible and I feel a new stadium is just what this club needs. It will boost the club, it will improve the club, it will give this club a fresh dosage of energy and excitement. Building a new stadium with a much larger capacity than what we currently have is the only way this club can compete with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.

not being funny here mate (and i genuinely mean it)vbut apparently your not from liverpool and you havent been supporting us that long, it`s probably a lot easier for you to have that opinion than for some others.

Exactly, yet another promise that dissipated along with the stadium plans ... I mean John Henry couldn't sit down with enough forum reps at the
beginning  to ensure we were kept in the loop and there would be no repeat of when the other cronies were in charge ,and yet we find ourselves
once again like the proverbial mushroom "KEPT IN THE DARK AND FED ON SHIT "  :no

They won't consult with fans about that.

It was a group that was started for fans to air their views

There have been a number of minutes and on the OS they have published what was said

It seems a bit insane that you wouldnt consult with supporters about THEIR clubs future
This is one of the biggest problems we have. They think they know best

Consulting with the fans would show them that Liverpool is about winning trophies not making money

The fans should make their feelings known and the owners must listen
This "were doing it on your behalf" is not good enough. We will end up with the same situation as last time

I concur.

FSG need several years before we can seriously judge them, judging them after 18 months is rather premature.
