Just read on Skysports that the two La Liga clubs Atletico Madrid and Valencia are interested in signing Igor Biscan. It`s not indicated anything when it comes to transfer fee, but I guess it won`t be all that much

im quite puzzled why diao was playing against norwich instead of biscan, i know there was a cnace of biscan leaving during the transfer window n some offers were made, but we still have to put out our best eleven and biscan is ahead of diao anyday, i didnt get to see the norwich game apart from the goals but how did diao play?

i reckon we need to hold onto biscan until the summer due to alonsos injury!

biscan needs to stay i agree. we are going to be without gerrard and alonso for the first leg against leverkeusen. we simply cannot afford to play diao alongside hamann in such an important game.

If a player is subject to transfer, he doesn't play because the interested team would not want an injured player, and the players' team would not risk an injury upsetting any deal. Hence  Beatty not playing for Southampton when it was known he was wanted by Everton.
Biscan could be for sale, maybe because Pellegrino could fill his defensive/midfielder slot. Or am I talking out of my ar*e here?

think your right bout the sale of biscan and hence not playing but dont think pellegrino would fill his void. i agree the same can be said of beattie, but if thats the case whats the story with anelka not playing last night, even though keegan came out and said nothing was happening to him, we all heard that before, could the pool be after anelka?

i`d sell biscan, the lads shown a lot of guts to turn his career around but he`s not good enough.
if offers come in for any of these houllier `squad` players you`ve got to take them.

i wont mind exchanging biscan + 2m for aimar. We have not had a midfielder in the mould of aimar in the club for quite some time...only wish that he was not so lightweight otherwise, perfect signing!!
