We all agreed at the end of last season players had to go, at that time Igor biscan's name was right up their with the people who had to go, so what's changed, one half decent game against the might of Wrexham ?.Get a life!!!! :angry:

I reckon Rafa is trying to create a bit of hype about Biscan so that some club might be convinced that he might be a half decent player and buy him for a few million.

Maybe the agreement was based on the fact that these players had to go under GH? What im saying is if Benitez comes out and says that Igor is not going anywhere we should now trust his judgement that maybe he could bring out the best in him and maybe turn him into a half-decent squad member?? Im thinking that it possibly wont happen but i hope one day we could be saying things like " well how come we didnt see any of this under GH"?

Hmmmmm, i'm not sure about this one really, I think he looked very tough and a good player when we signed him.

Useful squad player who could come off the bench if need be.

But now the dust is starting to clear and my assessment is that a lot of players were under-performing over the last couple of years because of Houllier. I don't think he was good for the players in the end, he wasn't the best man-morivator was he?

I always liked Houllier and was prepared to give him another season, but now we have the the new gaffer Rafa on board though, I can only see the future of the club becoming brighter, which in turn favours the players.

Another way of looking at it is that Biscan's confidence is so much shot to pieces from the Houllier regime, the public 'arm around the shoulder' tactic of Benitez saying he's willing to let him have a future at the club could do old Igor the world of good.

I'm giving Igor a chance.

Absoloutely spot on again lad.

Kenco, the point is lad, if Benitez thinks he can do a job, lets give (Benitez and Biscan) the chance to prove it. We're fans, not the manager. Benitez will hopefully be the man to take us back to where we belong and thats enough for me to at least respect anything he's gotta say.

every player deserves a chance and I'm sure Benitez will weed out the ones he believes can't do the job.

i cant beleive what im reading, this guy cannot play. hes only trying harder cause a new boss in and he doesnt want to get the boot.. he was definately the worst LFC player last year, even hitting his own woodwork on countless times. that does not restore confidence.
What so hes the new Zidane is he? I saw him play midfield against chelsea last season, and he was poor.
the thing is, unless someone actually goes up to Benitez and says, "hey mate, get rid of Biscan diouf, diaou, smicer," etc, then he aint gonna know how ****** they were last year

Only thing I can say about Bisca is sometimes he seems decent, Traore trwts the ball like a hot spud and is clumsier than Mr Mcgoo
