This afternoon on centry radio Liverpool chief exec Rick Parry declared that the club are planning another Big signing during the January transfer window as well as a forward. He said Morientes was on a list of strikers but was'nt definitely top of that list. He also poured water on the Fowler story but said regarding Anelka that any world class player that was available Liverpool were interested! But the most interesting thing was when he claimed that the club had already signed one player on a pre contract, a player he said who was "an international of outstanding pedigree".

How about Solari? He's out of contract in the summer, so would be able to sign a pre contract around now.

He wanted to join us in the summer to linkup with Baros so a deal could be on the cards,his name is always bein linked with us

It could be Solari and it could be Anelka.

There might also be an obscurish signing from Spain or another European league.

I think Leon that we might see 2 or 3 signings in January. One will definitely be a well known player, but the other two could be lesser known players from abroad.

i have it from a good source its fernando torres,raffa rates him so highly with steve morgan about to take the helm money is being pumped in and raffa has jumped at chance to make a record offer for torres.
