Welsh, sounds nice, but I do not see that one.

agree, Torres will cost a bomb as he is very young and if he became available all of the top clubs in Europe would want him, don't think we will blow our budget on one player somehow.

Does anyone know what kind of player Torres is?? Do I remember him right when I think of a tallish striker who is handy enough in his feet, kinda like Zlatan Ibrahimavich?

I think it will be in the midfield area ... Simao from Benfica or Kieron Dyer.

Our midefiel already ranks up with the best clubs in the world. We just need to patch up our forward lines and settle our defence and we r good as gold.

If we are able to get torres, it'll be a surprise. He is a wonderful player. In fact I rate him better than Raul.
Do we have enuf cash for him?? ???
If SG is LFC heart and soul, Torres is the same as to A.Madrid. It'll be a battle for him to cross over to LFC.

y do we need another midfielder?  unless its a right or left winger, we're overpacked in the midfield.  Lets say rossicky comes then where does he play and who do you drop from gerrard, alonso and hamman bearing in mind tha only 2 fit in unless u want 2 play a 4-5-1?

I'd like to see a top striker, ive heard torres' name bounded around as well as morientes, anelka and portillo but i dont see torres coming for less than a squillion quid, portillo is far from proven and that leaves morientes and anelka and id welcome either

Yeah if we are going to bring some high profile signing who isnt a striker i rather see it be a defender then another midfielder

is torres good in the air? havent seen him play, so i cant judge..some say he's better than raul whilst others say he is spain's most overrated player..

what about david villa? but he's not what you would call "international pedigree"...at least not yet? I think anelka would sorta fit that bill...

Believe it when you see it, mates.

I am not convinced that Rick Parry is that good a CEO and I don't buy into his b/s because he is trying to shore up his own popularity with the fans when he is at the top of the management malaise which has resulted in a record loss for Liverpool.
