Well my mate who works at the academy has said it is a done deal and he will be revealed on Friday.
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

i just dont know, i am expecting some big anouncement as everything seems to have gone quiet in the club, as though we have signings and will announce them all together, we dont seem to be pushing for signings and rafa is quiet on the whole subject.

imagine what a massive signing henry would be, huge

how long a contract would he want?

he sat out nearly all last season

he has just signed a new contract at arsenal which would cost us a mint to release him from

does he have another great season in him

has he got a release clause like owen and is he gonna move north

all questions and statement which i think need to be resolved before we get excited

In the racing post today:

THIERRY HENRY to sign for Liverpool – it would seem like one of the most unlikely transfer rumours of the summer but a sensational gamble was yesterday developing on the Frenchman swapping London for Merseyside.

The Arsenal talisman has been slashed from 10-1 to 3-1 with Hills to be snapped up by Rafael Benitez, while Betfred and Ladbrokes also reported significant interest in Henry to depart Islington.

Hills spokesman Graham Sharpe said: “We started to take calls asking for odds for Henry to join Liverpool a couple of days ago and initially offered 10-1, not believing it was that likely a move.

However, after an increasing amount of calls and bets – predominantly from the Liverpool area – we have shortened the odds.”

Betfred had reported a gamble on Henry joining Liverpool in January (20-1 to 6-1) and over the past 24 hours that price proved popular and he is now 5-2 to head to Anfield.

“Interest from Liverpool-based customers grows by the second and we may well have to cut the price again. Many punters believe this is a nailed-on move,” said Betfred'sPeter Collins.

Ladbrokes are betting on whether Henry stays with Arsene Wenger's side next term and they go just 6-5 he is elsewhere as punters latch on to the rumours linking him with the Reds.

“We've laid a number of three-figure bets to Liverpool-based punters about Henry not being at Arsenal for the start of next term,” said Ladbrokes' Nick Weinberg.

While I sincerely hope that Henry comes, I don't for a second believe that he is really on his way here.

He said himself that he won't play for another English team because of the relationship he had with Arsenal. And I personally feel that he is an honorable guy. He might leave for Barca though.

Also, if Wenger is still at Arsenal, I can't really see him leaving.

It's sort of like the Gerrard situation we had. You can't really see him leaving even though he looks to be considering it.

it does not makes sense at all..a arsenal legend tranfering to a rival club....??? If he moves out of arsenal surely a club outside the premiership would be his choice...!!

But the rumours is  soo strong although it does not make sense at all....but i would like to see him in liverpool..!!
IT WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING...!!!! the players he can attract , the club standard...!!

when i first read about this (as most of u) i laughed! but the more i read and on arsenals forums also, the more i think it has some kinda weight (still no where near the kinda possibality of getting eto'o or even owen for that matter) but ive gone from thinking "ive heard sh!te b4 but....diarrhea in text form?" to "its more like a leak in the c0ck....few trickles of p!ss there son!"

but as i read somewhere
"Gillet spent 232 million on A Rodriguez for the Texas Ranagers which was the biggest contract ever signed in the history of any sport!"

If the 2 big boys see terry henry as the thing they need/want!....they will get him. Money does talk and they never once stated how much money they are willing to offer rafa. The papers picked numbers.

Ultimatly, yea i think its still all BS but its not as far fetched as i first thought when i read it!

(also alot of unhappy arsenal fans! and they aint talking about the possible move to us, but about comments he made in korea or something about not being happy or something....they are calling their captain "an idiot" and...other such names ect ect...)
