I'm not bothering with you anymore, your always right you know everything, and no matter what anybody tells you you always argue it just for the sake of it, you actaully think NOBODY ever finds out who were after, hang around here for a while and you may just not see your always right.

Like I said for the third time now, people have called it and being right, at the same time of not throwing up silly long lists. Things obviously do sometimes leak out, I've witnessed it here, as your new you wouldnt have a clue lad.

Oasis ?

End of story.

I've read the board for about 3 years now, and I have never seen any of you being "spot on" about transfers. I seriously don't think any of you have any "inside info." It's either "the word around Liverpool," or stuff that comes from the media..  :D

Who was "Ciggy" right about? Darren Potter?  Who ???

Sure I know everything, just like I know that Rafa is looking at Forlan.

I also know that he is thinking of signing Bent because I read his mind last week, I couldn't believe my soothsayer powers, they really worked you know. I saw into his mind, there were Forlan and Bent sitting at a press conference with lolipops in their mouths.

I'll let you know first what I see next week.

I'm hoping for Eto'o but my mystic powers say it won't be another striker, oh well.

But I wouldn't have a clue because whatever you say goes, and your wealth of internet forum knowledge usurps anything I could possibly know.

If Rafa came onto this forum I'd love to see what he thought, but no!, Bamaga man would step in and say "who are you?".....

"What would you know, I've been on this forum much longer than you, off with yerself."

Anyhow, Big signings thread?

Well, I speculate that we'll make a big signing this coming week.

What are you claiming to be Rafa Benitez now

You are a boring, pedantic, anal, and an arguementative poster, should of known with the way you carried on with Stu.

Like Mick said the seasons over, speculating starts and thats what keeps this place going, if you cant handle that join a journalist forum as you seem to know more about that than you do your football.

I'll let you have the last word little boy, if it makes you feel better so carry on you obnoxious tw@t !

People actually do get to hear about deals sometimes. I have had a few told to me by a mate that were right and a couple of close calls(were the deal has later hit the papers and then fell through). Its not rocket science, people talk and word sometimes does get around (sometimes deliberately)that we are interested in a certain player.

There are so many things that can go wrong with a deal that its not surprising that the initial interest in a player often doesnt result in the player signing. Thats not to say that the tip off was wrong, just that things didn't work out. Its like horse racing the best tips mean the horse is "trying" not that its definately going to win.

Things seemed a lot easier under Houllier as I don't believe he tried to keep things as quiet (or maybe Tommo just had a big mouth :D  )

I know people get tip offs, but they get just as many tip offs as they do get predictions wrong.

It can't be too hard to predict which player is going to sign - there must be a list of around 20 players who we have been linked with this transfer window and from that around 10 who are more likely than the rest to join us. It happens at every club, there will at some stage later on in the signing process be a leak of information by a lawyers mate, an agents girlfriend etc....

So why are you being sarcastic about Oracles then, your not going to start contradicting yourself again are you ?

The way you've been carrying on though it is, and the way you just disregard every article that pops up on here shows that.

I have it on good authority that we will sign either Owen, Tevez, Eto'o, Malouda, Alves, Quaresma, Sabrosa, or a player I haven't mentioned in this post.

Could you narrow it down a bit ?

Bamaga man there is a distinction between making a prediction and KNOWING we are looking at someone and KNOWING we are looking to sign x player.

E.G.

"hense the reason he's looking at Forlan."

We don't know that, you can predict Rafa is looking at X player, but you assume he is by reading a few press reports.

It seems that the press have a massive impact on your opinions.

BTW it's spelt hence.

You call me obnoxious whilst calling me a tw@t and a w@nker in the same sentence, you should know about contradicting yourself.

Instead of "looking at Forlan" they really meant "looking forlorn"

As in "Michael Owen was looking forlorn at the prospect of playing for Newcastle under the Butcher"

Sure its not hard to guess when it comes to naming players that we are or could be interested in, but for example, I got a tip that Liverpool were after swopping Alonso for Eto'o well before it was ever mentioned in the papers. The deal (if there ever was one) didn't go through, but is that a bad tip or just an option that for one reason or another fell through?
