i love liverpool fc. it just pains me when i see this bunch of overpaid, overrated wasters pulling on a red shirt and pretending they give a damn about the club. we were once the best club in europe, now we can't even beat portsmouth.

This is Liverpool Fc ,I cant say i know wats the ins and outs of this club ,but im pretty damn sure they will be back!
My sons 7 yrs old...cried tonight knowing he has to face his pals in school....but he wont give up on the team he loves!
   Your Team needs ya !

Coming back isnt good enough, winning the title will be the only thing that will make me happy.
Second best wont do after all these years I am afraid.
I agree with what Kop 1892 says, we have stuck by the team for long enough and just had it threw back in our faces.

i agree with u kop 1892. there's no point trying to hide from the basic facts. i'll support liverpool on my life up to a certain point. the fact is that line has been crossed now. certain players are not fit to wear the shirt i.e. heskey, and if anyone thinks that finishing 4th is acceptable then they are deluded. the whole club needs revitalising from top to bottom if we ever want to challenge for any honours at all. the problem is that the people in charge are to blind to see this.

I could never go as far as abandoning the club or stop going to the match but i can understand everyone's frustrations at the current situation.
I am a critic of Houllier but I think it unfair to lay the blame completely on him. I think that David Moores and Rick Parry are also to blame as they have continued to support Houllier in the last year and a bit.Are they completely f##king oblivious to the growing unrest among the support, it's always been prevalent on the phone ins , local papers , fan boards etc but now at the game as well. The banner at the Newcastle game and the booing at the Man City game are evidence of this.
Are they happy with the style of game we play and the results on the pitch ?
Are they happy with us being 26 points behind Arsenal with almost a third of the league season still to go ?
Are they happy with the performances of our signings since the summer of 2002 ?
Are they happy with us playing in the UEFA cup ?
I know what my answer is... unfortunately I cannot change things at the club only messrs Moores and Parry can.
Have they the balls to change things ?

Look, I know we all frustrated and p1ssed off with GH, but there is no point to give up support Liverpool, I have been supporting Liverpool since late 1979, I am very proud being Liverpool supporter.

I would not walk away from Anfield forever, I am carrying on as Liverpool supporter till I die.

KOP-1892,

no need to apologise, we all are frustrated and p1ssed, don't worry about it, mate.

Her green plastic watering can
For her fake Chinese rubber plant
In the fake plastic earth
That she bought from a rubber man
In a town full of rubber plans
To get rid of itself

It wears her out, it wears her out
It wears her out, it wears her out

Radiohead - Fake Plastic trees , superb song :P

First defeat of 2004 if I'm right but significant in that its the end of the domestic season, it doesn't get much worse than this , beat agiant a Portsmouth Secong 11 !!!!!!!!! :(

no you should look into what you say before you say it. What you said was a stupid f##kin thing to say and you shouldnt even joke about something like that. If you were married and your wife did something to p#ss you off, would you joke about a divorce?, no you wouldnt. Supporting a team means sticking through tough time with them, through thick and thin, its like a marriage. You shouldnt say or even think about stopping supporting them.

Well whatever, i did say i was sorry even though i shouldn't have. This is a forum you know, and in forum's people are entitled to their opinion's which should be respected no matter how bad they may look or how wrongly they think.

The way i said it was like this:

If you have a car or motorbike you love it, it is you're pride and joy. One day you get a few niggly problem's with it you call it a clapped out piece of s##t but really it's just you're emotion coming through and you don't mean what you said, you still love you're car. It's normal human nature columbia and after all, we ARE human and make mistake's just like the one you made by assuming i would abandon LFC.

Now i hope i made that clear for you with the stupid car thing lol, the last thing i want to do is argue on the damn computer.

We have all said pretty much the same thing all season......that GH is not what we now need. But THEBARON above got it right. There are THREE people here who are culpable of getting us into this mess and allowing mediocrity to reign at what was once Europe's finest club. Moores, Parry and Houulier are ALL to blame for the state we are in.

I think that Houllier will be gone by the end of the season and the fans can help by showing our displeasure. But do you really have any confidence that Moores and Parry will do the right thing for the club? Er, NO.

I can't believe what I've read. I've never supposed I'd see a Liverpool fan saying such thing as giving up support to his own club!!! I would keep my comment about his words that it was a joke, not literral or whatever... As another fan wrote in a post being a true supporter of a club is like marriage - sometimes you get angry and even embarrassed, but finally... it's a LOVE FOR A LIFETIME! No matter how much it hurts - it's love, it's your passion, it's your own story (remember that marvelous game Liverpool-Newcastle 4:3 which amazed the entire World with the spirit of english football - the reason why I love English football and England as a whole), and finally it's your life... can you imagine your life without it?! Empty... Naaaaah, lads! Being the most successful club in the world for a decade like you were is great, but can't be eternal - ask Real Madrid and AC Milan fans... Success comes to those who has the will to build it - patience and dedication! Full support and constructive crytisism when needed! I think there was a famous man that you all know who said "We shall fight to the end... AND WE SHALL NEVER SURRENDER!". Do you need a bulgarian to remind you this?! I am ashamed of you although I do not support LFC, but I know what a club this is... I think 10 years of success spoiled some of you guys, but hard times are the times that show the rats among the rest people... Do you have any idea what is being 45 years under communist political and also football, oh yes - football regime??? Kicking you out of your stadium, pointing you as a faschist club and working against you in every moment - what would you do then? I know that you are having some hard time with your own club bosses and Houllier, but soon they'll be gone 'cause Liverpool is not its bosses or a stupid manager - it's a legend and believe me - it's still alive! Levski forever!!!
