I have a feeling we might have seen more of that last season had Agger not been injured. This may also be better for Aurelio and help balance his attacking and defensive duties. Just not sure what would happen on the right side as Pennant is no wing back (what was that Rafa? "Yet" !) Doubt it myself but never underestimate the Gaffer and his possibilities.
You actually believe that three defenders at the back would work week in and week out in the Premiership? I doubt it, and whilst it worked for ONE game against NEWCASTLE, that was ONE game against NEWCASTLE.
