I know he didnt score on his debut but does anyone remember the impact Ronny Rosenthal had when he signed in the closing stages of the 89-90 season?? I think he got a hat-trick on his third game at Charlton and went on a bit of a scoring spree! The kop had a new hero but sadly i think he will be remembered for the greatest miss that we ever witnessed against Villa!

Baros' first match wasn't bolton at all.

He came on as a sub the season before that at the nou camp.

That was his second match.

Next you'll be tellin us how good Fowlers first game was netting all 5 goals against Fulham.  ???

Some great debuts mentioned! Especially Barnes and Beardsley at Highbury, i remember that game well. What a team we had that season!. . .but Aldridge's debut came in Feb 87 when he scored the winner against Southampton at the anfield road end.

Clough, Collymore, Berger also had great debuts. Titi Camara aswell at sheff wed in 99.

The best of all must be Abel Xavier scoring on his debut with a blistering shot against Ipswich! (i'm joking! ! ! !

:;):  )

Technically yes, it was his debut. But it's a little unfair to class the last two minute's of a match a debut!

And for the rest of you're post, go tell someone who gives a ******!
