Best goals

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

*Garcia's against Juve
*Hyypia's against Juve
*Garcia against Chelsea
*All 3 goals and penalties against AC Milan
*Owen against Arsenal (Cardiff 2001)
*All 5 against Alaves (I kept thinking 'Surely that one's the winner?')

Obviously there have been far better goals than them, Gerrard v Boro comes to mind, but I'm counting goals I actually saw on TV and those made me jump outta my seat the most.

Red wrote:there was a goal scored by Steve Mcmanaman in the uefa cup about 6 or 7 years ago, i can remember which club it was against, anyway Macca was clean through on goal and i think it was the keeper who forced Macca out wide  towards the corner flag, the keeper moved back towards his goal and Macca from the bye line near the corner flag Parallel with the goal, the angle was as tight as a german virgin :Oo:  , and he managed to lift the ball over the retreating keeper and curled it in to the goal, i thought that was quite amazing. anyone remember that one?

Think i can remember that one pal. Was away in Russia i think against Vladikavkaz (at least that's the way it's spelt)

Mellor vs Arsenal

Owen vs. Arsenal FA Cup Final

Gary McAllister vs Everton. (Best Free Kick EVER)

Smicer vs. Milan

Best has to be Gerrard vs. Olympiacos.

You've hit the nail on the head there El Stinger.

Probably the best six Liverpool goals this century given the importance of them.

Due to the history and overwhelming success of our wonderful club, I think it would be impossible to pick "the best of all", it would be easier to pick the best goal scored against us. Mine would be Tony Yeboah - Leeds '95.

That was a truly fantastic goal!! I don't have a copy on the comp. at the mo' but its shown on FIFA 06, love that goal, even if it was against us   lol

Yeah, few of us have.

I love that goal, the stunned look on that Viera's face, the disbelief on Sol's, t'was a remarkable debut Premiership goal.

Gary McAllister's injury time goal against Everton

The goals in the UEFA cup final vs Alaves

The injury time winner in that game is still the best i've watched

Ok, this is my first post on the Liverpool forum, so go easy on me.
I reckon the best goal was Gerrard's rocket against Man U in the 2000-2001 season

the guy loved the club, gave us some great moments yet its amazing how he gets slated by some 'fans'

Some other great goals

This guy has:
-great ball control
-great first touch
-fierce shot
-dribbling skillz

All the evidence is here...
yet he is so underated...
