Let's go with the former NobyBob.

Been lurking on this board for a few seasons but never felt the need to post until now.

Just sickening to watch this team. Don't know if I even want to watch the Arsenal game. It's be a massacre if Arsenal scores first.

Wonder which match stevie G played in and which one rafa managed because we did NOT control the game and we did NOT play well, I cant believe people are actually saying we controlled the game, besiktas wanted us to have the ball, they are a counter attacking side, thats what they do.

As Ruud Gullet said, "Rafa dont confuse having posession with controlling the game, that was Besiktas game plan, thats the way they play every game, now get your act together and sort the team out you :censored:"

Well he didnt say the last bit, but i could see he was thinking it :p

Gotta say, cant see him being around much more if results dont change quickly, remember to the Yanks this aint no footy club of heart, this is now a business and being out of the Champions League / not much chance of winning the Premiership = :censored: all revenue, they will be looking for answers and if rafas is "Well that is football, sometimes you control matches and create so many really good chances but the ball wont go in the net" they'll flick him the V's and tell him to :censored: off

Unless we buy a striker after Christmas or Torres plays EVERY SINGLE FKN GAME, I think we are in for a struggle this season.

If you have a ticket then let us know. I have loads of mates who will want to go and get behind the team and support Rafa and the boys.

Whats the plan for Arsenal.  Flood the midfield with defensive midfielders and try stopping them play.  Wouldnt be surprised at all.

I'm thinking after tonights performance by our so called team ,that the players as opposed to recent season's have one eye on the league rather than the other way around . We've been looking to the cup comps in the last 3 seasons for our chance at honours. This season though the players are more focused on the league title than on the cups. Actually i think i maybe talkin poo and basically they were sh!te tonight and were beaten by a p!ss poor team . Once again no excuses from the players ,they were awful.

Fair enough but we have been shite in league lately as well

ah haaa your right ,but we're getting results in the league, only just i know. I did say i was clutching at straws mate.

dont think we were that bad tonight just lacked cutting edge (rafas fault because both voronin and kuyt have no cutting edge)

also hyypia at the back has been a disaster (i blame rafa for not signing a younger faster centre back)

apart from that it wasnt that bad, we at least had some ideas, gerrard looked hungry,,babel looked promising (well he settles if given the chance he could be great)
