Hi all,
i am just wondering on you opinio of rafa, obviously he is a master manager, taking up to victory in the UCL, but i would just like to point out a few things which i am perceiving as flaws in rafa's plan.

Cisse - obviously this has been talked to death, but he is just about the top goal scorer for liverpool this year, (inc friendlies etc). Rafa is not giving him a fair go, when Crouch has had hours too long of game time, and only for 1 goal???
it doesn't make sense, and rafa should put his personal feelings aside, even if he does not get along with cisse he still should play him because he gets the goals on the scoreboard.

Kewell - i am an aussie, so i guess i am a bit bias when it come to harry, he has shown a lot of potential in his younger years, and now he is just about 100% from his injury it is time he is given a chance to cement his 1st team place, something that he deserves, with his skills, i do agree that he does not have the best work ethic, and that he has been very unfortunate with injury, but it is time for Kewell to get a starting role.

Sinima-Pongolle - such a bright future for sinima, however it seems as if rafa is not going to tap the potential of this future superstar...

i guess thats all i really can think of at the moment..
please tell me your thoughts!

You might want to read through a few past threads and look for topics with Cisse and Crouch in them and you will see this has been discussed to death. Every single angle for discussion has been brought up IMO.

I can understand your worry and concern, but look how good we are going at the moment, shouldn't we just be happy?

I think Rafa has a plan. Not sure about the Cisse thing. Maybe Rafa sees something we don't. Maybe Cisse's attitude is a concern in training.

Rafa Benitez is the best thing to happen to Liverpool Football Club in a VERY long time.

Despite the many things he has got RIGHT you choose to highlight a couple of dubious points where you believe he may have got it wrong

Cisse - Not a team player and I suggest you watch his body language when he next gets an opportunity and how much effort he puts in when we HAVEN'T got the ball and that should give you some pointers as to why he isn;t commanding an established place. Also you might want to dwell on the FACT that Cisse scored ONCE in the CL last season as did Baros our other regular striker yet we went on to win it !

Kewell - Zenden on current form is the better player but with him injured Harry now has the chance to stake his claim, lets hope for all our sakes he grasps it and starts to play as well for club as he does for country.

Simao Pongolle - Recently returned after a career threatening injury, are you seriously suggesting he needs to be thrown in at the moment when we are unbeaten in 9 games

.. to add to Dalglish, Peter Crouch has added another dimension to our game, in terms of holding the ball up and freeing other players to move ahead, now when we attack we have options. Crouch's value and contribution to the team ethic, that Benitez demands and is instilling, is just what the doc ordered.

, Probably what this whole forum together sees is much less than what Rafa sees. He's working with them everyday, talking to them, has a team of coachs with him, of course he has a plan. :laugh:

Hi kid, grow up. Cisse and Kewell? You make me laugh. Those guys are irresponsible and they are only in it for themselves and the money. Whenever I see Kewell play I get angry because his lazy attitude and his unwillingness to work for the team. Then you have a go at Crouch who is a genuine team player and a fans favourite. Go to bed kid it's late, and son don't come back here no more.
