I must admit i've got my heart set on Figo playing for us so i hope this does sort itself out.

I'm sure Perez views Benitez as a future Madrid manager. He won't want to p*ss him off. Expect Perez to climb down and Figo to be wearing red next year.

I won't be too dissapointed if Figo join's, I say that because I'd rather have SWP - but I ain't complaining.

Once again, SWP is a very talent player but carries a very high price tag. We should get Figo as he will bring in a lot of experience.

Yeah for one or two season's, SWP would be a long term future signing, Figo would be a quick fix so to speak!

23 millions is just the starting price. I'm sure Chel$ki will increase their bid for SWP so that no one can take him away from them.

So, i think that SWP might just be out of our reach.

Yes, but if SWP doesn't want to go to Chelsea then what can they do, they won't bid on a player who has no interest in them. We can offer them good money plus some valuable player's who they could either use to strenghten their team or sell and use the money for better player's etc.

The Portuguese ace has agreed terms with the Anfield club over a summer transfer, yet the deal has stalled as Real Madrid are now demanding £2million for the deal.

This led to Reds manager Rafael Benitez admitting it would be ‘very difficult’ to strike a deal for the 32-year-old, although the players’ agent has rekindled hope with his latest comments.

"Liverpool have shown the most interest but they won't pay a fee for him and Real won't accept this," revealed Louis Douens. "However, I wouldn't rule out the option of a last-minute move to England."
