I think Rafa has a "pace phobia" Owen,Cisse now Bellamy :D

Seriously though, the timing of this is all wrong with tuesdays game coming up, we dont really neeed any distractions leading up to the game.

If called upon i  hope he can be proffesional enough to give his all and maybe leave with a champions league medal, or do you think he has burnt his bridges and will not figure for us again ( doesnt really attract potential buyers if hes sat on the bench ? )

Would you really risk playing him on Tues? I for one would not, it would be a massive mistake, he always comes across as a bitter, everyone elses fault, kind of guy. If he listened to Rafa he could have been a success, alleged Red. :no

Out of himself Kuyt and Crouch he's the better player for me and the one I'd least like to see leave. He'll never score alot of goals but he can change games by running the channels, picking the ball up in deep positions and linking the midfield and attack.

On saying that I don't believe any of our forwards with the exception of Fowler are upto it.

No loss, I wasn't particularly enamoured when we signed him. He's all mouth and no trousers.

Yes he has a mouth on him and he has a attitude but on the pitch he usualy comes up with the goods, if all players had the same football attitude as him and determination we would have no probs in the league, you guys are giving him stick because he is very passionate about his football,

Talk about double standards, i for one will be sad that he is leaving.

steps off the soap box lil rant over, enjoy your evenings guys and gals  :Oo:

Right can you honestly say he's gone about this the right way? If you can your seriously deluded.

He's had problems everywhere he has been and even here at HIS BOYHOOD CLUB he can't keep his mouth shut.

And for the record I have never thought the world of him. Before he joined I thought he would be a vital player for us.

It seems he's let us, the manager and himself down.

If it meant the difference between us winning or losing of course i would, i have no problem with Bellamy apart from the timing and the way he has spoken out.

I am not stubborn enough to jeapordise our chances of winning just because he might not be everyones favourite player, im not saying play him from the start because after wednesdays match and Rafa getting his tactics wrong it would be a waste of time and he was never going to be on from the start.

But if we are struggling to break them down and we need a goal or we neeed to try something new i want any player on that pitch who can change the game no matter who they may be playing for next season, i dont think his attitude if called upon can be questioned, yes he looks p.issed off when hes brought off but i would expect nothing less from any player who WANTS to play. I would be more worried if he skipped of the pitch smiling !

He bounced back from the golf club incident and was a major part in our win against Barcelona, so if he can come of the bench and have the same impact in wednesdays game then i wouldnt hesitate.

It is a MASSIVE game for us and we need to win no matter what

He is the one you would least liek to see leave but he wont score any goals ?

its sad to hear about this, the way it came about aswell.....not good.

Not blaming rafa or anything but its not the first time he has been at odds with one of his staff...maybe there will come a time where this will be a problem for us, obviously hope not. :O

Its not about favourites, anyone that can and would win a match for us is ok by me, but do you think you could trust him to give his all to the cause and the manager, who he seems to dislike? As i said he comes across as selfish and petty, i could be wrong, but thats his persona.

I won't be thrilled to see him leave, but to be honest he hasn't set the world alight this season. He's had great moments, but he just doesn't look at home for me.

It does make the striker situation very interesting now. Suddenly I really do wonder if Fowler's LFC career is over after all.

Has anyone actually heard him say this himself? The report was was given by Malcolm Allen(remember him? ex norwich/wales) who said he spoke to bellamy on the pitch before the game and this is what he told him.
While I don't doubt he said what he said, it's a bit harsh to have a go at him for publicly speaking out, he hasn't, someone else has. Yeah maybe he wanted it to happen, but maybe he was talkin to someone he stupidly thought he could trust and it's gone tIts up for him(as daft as he is for doin that anyway). But if the guy doesn't wanna be here, then fine, good luck for the rest of your career, but unless Ac milan or Barca/Real come in for the lad, it's always gonna be seen as downward step not a sideways one.

Personally, not that bothered, I'm confident the replacement brought in will be of an equal but more likely higher quality.

At this moment, I can't see any evidence of HIM actually saying it on camera, maybe MOTD will prove me wrong, or someone on here has got that proof, but I watched the welsh final score and it was I said previously, reported by Malcolm Allen.
