Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby JohnBull » Sat Aug 27, 2005 3:18 pm

How many times have we got to see it - a player leaves and feels that justice wasn't done - for a few games he then becomes a world beater and everyone wonders why he was sold. Berger played out of his skin at first but it don't last, just as the wonder start for Baros won't last.
As I'm writing this Le Tiss just said "Baros should have scored"

Say No More !!!!

yeah tell me about it.

i had villa to win 2-0 in the prediction league. baros just missed a one on one in the last minute to make it 2-0.

that could cost me dear. good riddance to bad rubbish. :D

what is so surprising when a striker scores? ??? :p
as long as he doesn't get injured he will score again, i bet my house and my wife for that, but that won't be necessarily mean we were wrong selling him

baros was typically baros again today, listening to soccer saturday it was obvious that he should have had  a hatrick. Clean through at on etime only to have a heavy touch when ready to score. He is frustrating and i think 6.5m for him was a great deal. Well done rafa.

can't believe it...even when baros leaves he still gets blasted.

why can't we just wish him luck and leave him ? I mean, do we have to hope that all our ex-players play like sh1t for their new clubs ?

Baros just started for his new club and capped it with a goal. I would say he has done well given that it is his 1st match with a new team....... So just wish him all the luck.

An irony. Baros scored on his debut and he is sh1t .....on the other hand, we have some players not performing well....and we have to give them time...  ???

I don't know where you were last season but Baros played 44 games and if he was fit he hardly missed a game. In those 44 games he only scored 13 goals. Thats why he was sold. Today he should had scored a hat-trick. Good for him to score a goal on his debut but I didn't forget the last 15 games of last season in where Baros did not score.

Baros was given time, and he did not do as much as he should considering the ability he has.
