Bartez to liverpool ?

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

YOU must be joking ,
i dont believe this !!

Liverpool have agreed a deal with Manchester United that will see Fabien Bartez move to Anfield until the end of the season.
The French international is now set to agree terms over the weekend on the deal.
His agent Phillipe Piola had flown to England to broker a deal and now both clubs have struck an agreement.
Bartez, subject to agreeing terms, will rival Jerzey Dudek for the number one jersey .
Liverpool need to count on two keepers of the highest level if we are to have the ambitions of being at the highest level.
"Fabien will be happy to come as he can prepare for the Euro [European Championships] and because in Manchester he does not play anymore."
The deal is subject to Fifa approval, but the deal should be signed and sealed by Monday at the latest.
United have stated that the deal is 'not done', but the move - subject to Fifa approval - should be sealed by Monday.

Thats a joke.

Even when Jerzy plays below himself he's a better keeper than Barthez, and Kirkland is probably a longer term bet than both.

Look at you lot bickering over a has been keeper it's goals you lot need. After readig this site i have come to the conclusion that Liverpool fans have got as much idea about the beautiful game as GH and that is very minimal. (an observant pompey fan:D
