I would start with baros in istanbul.  Cisse is fast but only in a stright line, I am sure the milan defence wouldn't have too many problems playing aginst that, whereas baros is a touch more unpredictable.

Well observed , Cisse is still to prove himself at LFC but at least so far, unlike Baros, his attitude at least has been spot on.

It needs to be said that some of those quotes seem a little iffy. His English isn't the best, let's not forget, and some of the wording just doesn't sound like him.

It has been on a bunch of sites.

It's the bit that says that the quotes were taken from Czech newspaper Pravo that interests me - to me that seems to indicate that the interview will have been translated.

You'd be surprised how easy it is to make someone sound like they're being bitter and twisted with your choice of words when you're translating.

I wouldn't be surprised if Baros was on the bench against Milan.

Baros isn't and never will be good enough.

However... what an investment...

£3.5m... now worth £7m-£8m... i'm happy with that. :)

It is rare enough that we've brought in a player and later sold him for a profit.

Can't remember the last time that happened, now that I think about it. Not including players that came through at the club like Owen and Fowler, maybe the £500,000 we made on Danny Murphy, and the £400,000 we made on David James?

Baros really isn't doing himself any favours. The only reason he is warming the bench is because he obviously isn't playing as well as he should. His self centred attitude has got him his 13 goals (unlucky ??? ) . And his self centred attitude has also got him on the bench. Live by the sword...die by the sword. If he does go I will be sad to see him leave. He is my favourite player although there is no i in team is there....is there? :D

Warming the bench? How the hell has he been warming the bench when he has played 43 games and started 90% of them, the 10% he didn't start is because he was injured for two or three months. He's been substituted yes, but no more than five or six times and he get's substituted when he plays like sh1t.

He's full of sh1t. 13 goals all season for a striker is not good enough, Frank Lampard has scored 17 goals in the league and he's a fricking central midfielder, Luis Garcia is a drop off striker yet he's scored 13 goals playing as a winger!.

Baros needs to be sold, I've defended him in the past but he's not good enough. He works hard for himself not for the club.

Fed up to the back teeth of him. Never been forgiven in my eyes when he was linked with Barca going on about how it would be a dream to play for them. If i was Rafa i would be on the phone right now to Laporta asking if they are still interested with silly money. How many chances does he spurn every game and look not bothered. He has had many chances to proove this season what he is made of and he has failed. Time to get rid in the summer.

Good luck to him getting into there team. with giuly, eto'o and ronaldihno up front he's got a great chance... NOT

You couldn't have expressed the fact in a better way. He wouldn't have a single chance to play for Barcelona. Etoo is the best striker of the Spanish League. I wouldn't mind to change players for next year. Etoo for the reds, and Baros to Barcelona. I am afraid Barcelona will not accept this switch.

What do you think Beni thought when he saw this article. I hope Baros, Cisse and Morientes have a 3 pronged attack against Aston Villa. Like an exhibition match. Although every single one of them is firing blanks

Cisse will start against Villa, but I don't know about Baros or Morientes. I've heard that Morientes has a muscle strain and thats why he hasn't played against Arsenal and might not play tomorrow. Personaly I think Cisse-Morientes partnership will be better than Baros-Moro, though thats not what I thought at first when we bought Morientes.

I'm not sure, as LFC don't really disclose this info, but we've got to assume at least £30m + whatever is raised in sales.
