Baros to pompeys? - Has been turned down ?

Milan Baros was wanted by Portsmouth. But L`pool didn`t let him go - not even on loan! Ok with that ?

I saw that as well.
Pompey are desperate for a striker and are asking everyone.
Letting Baros go now (even on loan) is absolutely out of the question and you have to wonder why Pompey even bothered asking (Berger probably put them up to it!)

Maybe we could sell them Heskey and use the proceeds to get Viduka.
Did anyone read today that the Leeds creditors are giving the club more time in case they sell in the window? I found that quite interesting, maybe a little pressure to sell could see us land some bargains!
