Apart from not scoring...his pace had City's defender shi-t-ting all over the places, and send Dunne to an early shower. Could easily have svored a couple but for some good goalkeeping by James. Done well enough, imo.

Overall, i am happy. I hope hamann, will not be dropped when the new signings come. When he plays like a attacking midfielder (for the last 5 minutes), he was great.

If manure loses again, i will be elated... :D

A little harsh on Steve Finnan, I mean he is playing out of position, he is a decent right back and more than adequate cover if nothing else, players liek him and Carragher who can play a few positions are really useful players and in the modern game when a squad is more important than the team I hope we keep the likes of Finnan personally

Diao, played as centreback. Looked competant. I hope  Josemi's injury is not serious. He is class, seeing how fast he has adapted to our team.

I am not being harsh, but the thing is right midfield should be finnan's best postion.

He can't play as right back as he can't defend at all. I mean he is worse than riise at defending.....

I was sweating when Diao came in for Josemi, fearing a harsh tackle could give City a lifeline, but he must have been stictly instructed not to take any chances as he either head / boot the ball out of danger area or send 40 yards back passes to Dudek & Hyppia.

No words yet on Josemi but I hope he recover and take the field in our next game. Steady performance today before the knock.

Baros had a good game..lots of potential but the lad can improve..missed quite a lot of chances though. Finnan has no idea how to play as RW at all but to jump on him is not rite..he can be a good att RB. Looks like the team slowly gel together...

I think warnock should start the game against raza. We are already 2-0 up, so can afford to give him his 1st start.  I don't want to build him up as the next best thing, but he has a good left foot and showed a few good touches. I just want to see, how he does in a full match.

i like Warnock

In the short time he was on the field, he look a good potential. Good of Rafa to give him playing time at this level to get his experience and confidence up.

The_Rock wrote:1-1.... Hope we can go on to win the game now. We were rubbish in the 1st half. This just shows how much we need alonso & garcia in the team. We also need another striker and centreback (This is the nth time i am telling this).

A note.. Joesmi seems to be injured.........

How are you watching the game and posting here at the same time? Internet on mobile?
