He also needs to play with his head up so that he can see his team mates. :D

I really hope you'r right, but when I think of the forwards I've watched grace the Anfield turf, there's just no real comparison, I sometimes think we're now conditioned to accepting second best.
This is surely not whatwe need  to restore this famous club of ours?

hes :censored:...  must be the lowest leading goal tally for a forward in years.. we used to say michael owen had a bad season when he scored less than 20 a season!!!!

move over baros its time for cisse and morientes
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Every major team must have 4 strikers.

From the Skysports article.

Does that mean that we signed or going to sign another striker ?? If so, i prefer Dirk Kuyt rather than Peter Crouch.

I think Baros has a lot of talent in him, and he is a very hardworking player (compared with Cisse, and considering the form/strategy we have been playing for most of the season)

I would keep him and use him wisely.. I am sure RB can do this better than I do

From Daily Post site:

Current Liverpool striker Milan Baros has admitted he could still leave Anfield.

The Czech international came close to departing this summer only to see moves to Valencia and Lyon fail to materialise.

And Baros said: "There is no reason to be disappointed. Anything can still happen, I can still leave. This possibility is not eliminated.

"I did not want to hurry something and also that is why I remain at Liverpool. I have been here for three-and-a-half years and I am satisfied.

"I still work for Liverpool and I want to do my best for them.

"Liverpool are going to play the league, two domestic cups and the Champions League. We are going to play approximately 70 matches and there are also the international duties.

"You can't play this amount of matches with the same two strikers. Every club has four high quality strikers, so there is no reason to be afraid.

"I will fight for the position and if it goes well, I will be happy. If not, we are going to resolve the situation with my agent."

Do you seriously think that we as liverpool fans give a :censored: about what he did at euro 2004? All we're bothered about is what he does for liverpool.

He whinged when he wasn't in the team, but when he was he just didn't produce enough. Scoring a hatrick against palace and a couple against Millwall is nothing to write home about. I don't think he has what it takes to perform consistently at LFC - Being dedicated and troubling defenders only gets you so far.

If he can add passing, awareness and decent shooting to his game, then I'll be his biggest fan.

The only time I bring this up though is when you get people like you insisting that he is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

The guy has a long way to go to be good enough. Next season, if he's still here, I can see him being third choice.

I agree with you ST Mike, the big improvement he has to do is to lift his head when playing.
