Baros. - Cometh the hour.......

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby bigmick » Mon Nov 01, 2004 12:13 pm

Everyone's got an opinion on Milan. He seems to polarise the thoughts of all the fans. Well now is his moment, the time for talking and posturing is over. He is our only recognised striker remaining who has any real quality. By the time the window opens in January the debate will be over. Baros is going to have to carry our attack almost single-handedly for two months. It'll either make or break him.
FWIW my hunch is that it will actually do him good. He seems to be a boy with quite an ego and I can see him rising to the challenge and enjoying his indispensibility. I think most people would say that his biggest weakness is getting his head up and passing, this won't be a problem anymore 'cos he'll like as not be up there on his tod!
I think as long as the fans get behind him, plenty of 'MILAN' 'MILAN' and he might just turn out to be the real world-class player that he has threatened, particularly on the international stage. Come on lad, you can do it for us, MILAN MILAN MILAN.....

I think this could well be the making (or breaking) of the lad, and I hope he steps upto the plate and makes sure he is counted.

You never know, this "I wish Barca would sign me" attitude may work in our favour, If he tries his hardest to impress them, then we will get the best out of Milan.

I agree Mick Miulan should thrive on bieng our Main Man his work rate and commitment have been a marvel ,  i'd still like to see a bit more inteligence in his play. I expect to see him sitting pretty on a 10-12 goals by Jan having firmly cemented his place as our number 1.     MILAN MILAN MILAN MILAN

If baros improves his finishing, wat with his dribbling, workrate & creating his own goal he would become 1 hell of a striker.

Milan has more skill in his little toe than Owen had in his whole body BUT owen was a better finisher so far. But Milan is not far away from bieng the whole package Euro 2004 Golden Boot winner and one hell of a player Milan as an LFC fan iam proud to have you on board you can become as great a player as any and defo better than little Owen Because let's face it he's gone and i have no club loyalty towards the man.

But he's English and your not so people will alway's bleat on But my man i hope you prove them all wrong  :;): good luck my friend UP tHE REDS!.

Milan seems to loving playing up-front by himself.... What happens if we buy morientas ? :D

Also think baros has to play the ball more to garcia. I fear, one of these days, garcia is gonna knock baros' lights out if he doesn't  :p
