Villa agree Baros fee

Well, hard task for the pitch manager as from now since they'll be no one checking out the grass on match days for him.

I always feel a little flutter of doom when we sell players, they usually lift their games when they move on.Hope Owen comes back, imagin another prem team getting him.

6 million seems a bit on the cheap side though, considering Lyon offered 8.2 million......surely its 6 million and solano

Baros doesn't want to go to Lyon, so we can't do much about that. Plus the fact that Houllier is manager of Lyon shows why they made an 8.5 million bid on Baros when we only asked for 7

I think 6mil is decent enough considering he's going into the last year of his contract

Don't know what Houllier was playing at with that 8.5mil bid, Baros had already said he wouldnt play in France

I'm not altogether sorry to see him go, a bit hit-and-miss, we can do better.

Its a sad day for LFC, and the first sign that Rafa makes the odd mistake. because this is surely one of them..

He is arguably one of our best strikers, pacey and works hard.

Morientes has no pace, lazy and aint gonna score a load. Just like Cisse and Crouch the slouch.

Next time we see Baros play, will in that Yakky Burgundy Villa kit, that makes you want to puke.

Shame on you Rafa.
