BARCELONA 1-2 LIVERPOOL - ALL REACTION HERE......

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

As you say a bit early but I'm afraid that if we are to get a good result from the nou camp we must play bellamy so we can hit them on the break with his pace. Barca's defense is world class but defenders hate people running at them and bellamy can do that.

Benitez won 2 champs against the worst Barça ever seen.  Barça was through a big crisis at that time.
The last time we visited Anfield cok we won 1 - 3. Just an advice.
Barça and Madrid were hoping to meet Liverpool in this round. It's the easier team, weaker than Milan, Chelsea, Arsenal, Bayern, ... There is no doubt about it.

why oh why do we give numptys like this the attention they so obviously crave  :no replying to his pathetic wind up posts give him a sense of importance in his own little world. just leave him and the voices in his head to carry on. without replies he will soon get bored and scuttle off back where he came from  :sleep

you can't talk, our history is much much better than yours. Before you won in Paris when was it you won the champions league before then?

pathetic, first look at our history, then talk

I dont think that Barcelona are as good as they were last year. They really impressed me in the Champions League final against Arsenal last year, however this year I don't think they have looked that threatening. We can do them for sure :D

YNWA.

What does that mean?

I know this :censored: from a spanish forum (http://miarroba.com/foros/ver.php?id=51250). He is a Madrid supporter and he believes in Franco and Pinochet. Watch out boys!

This is false, i only believe in God and in Mr Santiago Bernabeu.

I hope that Liverpool will can defeat them, but the hand of Angel Maria Villar is really long.

The atmosphere in stamford bridge is awful. It is full of plastic fans who are glory hunters. They only follow chelsea because they have money and they know that they will buy trophies.

You will see a superb atmosphere inside anfield, with it being such a big game and being against Barca it will be even better than usual.

Anfield is a whole different story mate. Chelsea don't even manage to make new songs. Anfield has a good range of songs, and it's not about the northern or the southern stands chantins "Tot el camp is un clam", it's about all the stands singing not only you'll never walk alone but Fields of ANfield Road and many others. Absolutelly amazing.

For what is worth I've seen in your forums that you're pretty confident. We like that. I watch all Liverpool games and I know they can give you a hard night in the pitch. I don't think there's a team in Spain that presses so well as Liverpool does. Only Sevilla right now, and still I like it less. Spanish press is pretty confident with the fact that Liverpool had a slow start, but then, that also happened yesteryear and the previous one. I see LFC improving

Logic says Barcelona should pass the draw, but logic also shouts that if you're on a final 3-0 down against Milan, the game is likely to ve over

Have just checked the price for anyone wanting to fly from Belfast. Flying with Jet2, leaving from Belfast INTL on the 20th at 8.00am and returning on the 22nd at 12.05 is working out at £192.00 per person. Thats not a bad price!!
