BARCELONA 1-2 LIVERPOOL - ALL REACTION HERE......

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

4 finals in 10 days, one down, three to go.  I would happily lose all three if it meant we are guarenteed a win against the white scum *spit*.

Would you? I don't think that's the pick of most of Barcelona fans!

Meaning you've won both the CL and the Liga recently, you're in a moment of your history that COULD win two CLs in a row and get the 3rd one. Barcelona has a lot of fame but need some more of this european top cups to back their fame.

What time kick off is the Sevilla game on Saturday night ?

We have a nice early kick off you see and play at home so no travel involved, just thought it may make a slight difference in the sides the managers put out in both there league games and the return leg on Tuesday.

I am not sure if we will play 3-4-3 against you.  I would be far to risky for a start.  Eto'o was rested yesterday and we have been struggling up front recently in his absence so I think Rijkaard thought we would try and surprise Zaragoza and over run them in midfield in the first 30 mins, which worked perfectly.  However, this worked mainly beacuse it surprised Los Manos but as you would have seen in the second half they came back strongly, even with 10 men so I am not totally convinced by the 3-4-3.

Liverpool will be a diferent opposition entirely.  We need to score first and early to get you on the back foot.  If we can get the nerves to set in then anything can happen, but I am not too hopeful.

I would really happily lose the CL and La Liga if we could beat Madrid and we end up higher than them.  You are right to say that that is not the view of most Barca fans, but it is mine!

Thats not much of a break in between the games...especially with having to travel as well.

I wouldnt be happy if we had to do that.

Well they are professionals, I know it isn't perfect, but we are playing 4 games in 10 days!  I tend to think that too much is made of players being tired from too many games, it is normally just a manager's excuse.

When you think about it, 90mins isn't a huge amount to ask every 3 days or so.

You obviously dont appreciate how fit a person needs to be to play 90 mins at the highest level!

It does take its toal on players even though they are superfit, its a big ask of a player to play 2 full games 3 days apart...Not too worry though, with the Anfield crowd behind us our boys get the extra boost from adrenaline on big nights like next Tuesday! :D

We must keep our guard up.

No mistakes, no retreat, and no f*cking surrender.

We HAVE to take the game to them - sitting back would be like going "over the top" in WWI with a ghetto blaster and a pink flag saying "I am British - please shoot me."

Cautious attack.

Sabre is confident and happy.

Cannot assure we'll win, but I see no less than a draw. :)

The Sevilla test will be interesting because they'll play a similar formation and tactics that the one we played in the Nou Camp.
