Difficult tie.  They have been very impressive this season.  Scoring goals for fun as well.  But winnable.

Not to mention fukn dangerous! Roma fans have hated us ever since the 1984 European Cup Final, the UEFA Cup tie in 2001 over there was pretty dodgy for our fans as well if memory serves me correctly.

They are the last Italian team I'd want to draw in that sense, Inter or Milan woudl be much more amicable, especially Inter who love us to bits after 2005.   :D

Even if it's in jest CRA, it's nothing to joke about. Our fans safety is as important (if not more) than the team. Unfortuantley we know more about that than most sets of fans.

which is true, that it is best to keep our fans safe. Im not saying by any means try to jeoperdize the safety of our fans or players, and i would like to retract my stupid comment as I appologize for it. I wasnt around in 1984. but if their is still hostility between the fans, then that would leave Madrid. Madrid is nothing to joke about either. As I would not like to Barca or Munich in the first stage.

I want us to play Valencia at some point, it will be great to see Morientes. We shouldn't of sold him, big mistake. The best striker in the world.

I think Celtic would be a very very tough draw, they'd be right up for it and their support at home is outstanding, they really took it to Man Utd. Lille or Porto are ties I think we'd have little problems with, but other than that they are all mighty tough. That being said we CAN beat anyone.

My personal preference is Bayern as I'm going to be in Germany in February and I'd love to see us stuff the Bavarians so I can give it to a mate of mine who's a big Bayern fan. :D

Celtic "really took it to Man U"? What game were you watching? Manure hammered them on the night without being able to finish..... The one chance the Bhoys got they put in, If we were to play them, the atmosphere would be the thing we'd have to beat. I think I'm right in saying we have an away leg first so the ball really is in our court. To win the thing you have to beat the best (like we did before!) so it really don't matter what order you do it in..... Just ask Juve, Chelski and AC............!!!

Are you serious?  On what evidence do you think we should have kept Morientes.

There is no doubting that he is a quality player but our style of play didnt suit him and he admitted himself that the PL was too physical for him.

We had no option to sell him unfortunately, it just didnt work out.

I think Valencia would be a great game but I think we need a tough team like Madrid or Barca to kick us into gear.

To be honest on our day we can beat anyone of those teams :D

His goalscoring record in Europe.

I'd like to face Roma, Inter or Lille.

Inter is way overrated and Adriano is having a torrid time. Roma relies too much on Totti and have been pretty inconsisten in Europe. Lille does not appear to be really strong, despite there being no easy games any longer at this stage of the CL.

Celtic would be really fired up and they'd play very physicaly and just ned a dead ball from a good enough angle for Nakumura, and then they'd close shop and hang on to dear life. Barca would be difficult as I think Ronaldinho will be in better form come Feb. Real Madrid would be easier than Barca but they are also improving in organisation now that the rigid Capello has had a few months on the job.
