But he's a centre forward, not a mdfielder and shouldn't be called upon to make many tackles. As a striker/CF, you usually have the ball played to you.

Ian Rush was the first line of defence and often came back into midfield to win the ball and start an attack.

Rushie was highly regarded in the game for his tracking back, anyone who actually watched him play will tell you. Anyone who says otherwise obviously never watched him, simple as that.
