And that funny decision making thing... Never answered me,are Carrick,Scholes,Giggs,Ferdinand,Vidic,Hargreaves better in decision making than Ronaldo? Are Benny,Arbeloa,Xabi,Riera,Keane,Kuyt better than Babel in decision making. Ronaldo and Babel can do awful things, but they are appreciated because of their football abilities and skills. The difference between those two is that some managers aren`t afraid to put players that don`t track back, but are cracking footballers, and the others just put cautios and safer option.

Right from reading this (and I promise I'm not having a pop) I don't think English is your first language. That being the case, you may not be a reincarnation and as such I apologise for saying you were.

The decision making thing though is simply a nonsensical comment. I say again, I probably like babel more than most on here so why you are directing your most vociferous defence of his abilities towards me I don't know.

If you are going to praise him up though, pick on the stuff that he's good at why don't you? Talk about his pace, his athleticism, talk about his direct running, his instinctive shooting etc etc. Trying to pretend however that his "decision making" is better than many other players in the team is palpably ridiculous. If you truly believe this, then you are clueless.

As for him tracking back, what are you on about? I don't think I've ever in my life talked about Babel tracking back, either in the sense that he does do it, doesn't do it, should do it more or should forget about it altogether. Once again I think you are getting me mixed up with someone else here.

One last point, please don't mention Ronaldo and Babel in the same sentence if you want to be taken seriously. I dislike Ronaldo as much as the next man, but lets be serious here for a second  :wwww

I think we've established that you rate Babel which is Ok by me, I quite like him on occasions too. You don't think he's been given a fair crack of the whip, fair enough. I'm at a loss though as to why you a) want to be so confrontational about it, and b) insist on peppering your posts with statements which are clearly utter nonsense.

Anyways, all that said you've brightened up the forum for a bit so fair play to you and welcome.

I've basically made the point before. If Babel was under more attack minded managers such as Ferguson or Wenger he would flourish, and I imagine some of their quality players like Nasri and Walcott would be mediocre under Rafa. He puts far too much emphasis on workrate and always has. It's the way he is and he wont change. Ferguson and Wenger basically just players play. Ok you need your workhorses in there aswell but not as many when you're making the opposition do the chasing most of the time. As a fan, I long for the day when we start adding a bit more flair to our organisation but how can you really complain greatly when we're sitting top of the League and are through to the last 16 of the CL with a game to spare?

I do think Rafa puts too much into the players' minds sometimes though. If you observe Rafa during a game, he is either writing notes or shouting instructions to players. I'm not saying this is right or wrong (who am I to question a European cup winning manager) but I always had a feeling that Rafa over complicates things sometimes.

Couldn't agree more.

Babel plays for the most successful side in the English game therefore is automatically better than anything any other side has.

Cant say I agree with that atal!
Any time Babel has been played his job has been to get forward, supply the frontline and make things happen.
Its not Rafas more defensive approach that makes Babel lap out of tackles,or fail to beat players, misplace passes..in fact its not Babels either he just has'nt got it in him(most of the time)
Perhaps he IS a forward as forwards dont usually be good at those!

Maybe as some have said he should be tried up front or off the frontman, cause he certainly is'nt ever gonna be a left winger.I actually feel a bit sorry for the lad, being stuck out left most of the time he's played.
Nows as good a time as any to play him up top,he can't exactly damage our goalthreat, cause there is'nt one to talk about lately.
It may be scary truth time though,if we play him up there,Keane does'nt get it together and we still struggle to bury the ball.
But then again he may get a bagful and we'll all say,Rafa should have done it sooner...ya never know! :D

If he does not start next game,it will be ridiculous. I loved Rafa man,but he dissapointed me and many other fans. I just can`t see us past mancs this year with these line ups, tactics. I am sure that Rafa will not change our game since we are out of the title race. These years are agony
