True but if we are going to challenge for the top prizes in the game our away form has to improve, in terms of points won we have a worse away record than the likes of City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs and even United.
To really put our away form in perspective we have won the same amount of points away from home as Newcastle.

Strange seeing as how we counter attack so well and away the home team has more of a go at us opening themselves up.

We generally score goals away from home but we tend to concede them as well, at an average of basically 2 a game, that means on average we have to score 3 away goals to win the 3 points which is asking a lot every other week.
Most teams would be happy to score one away goal, we have to score 3.

We've lost 4 away in league, to Arsenal as well.

united game will be huge. we win that and united will officially be out of fourth (why do so many people think they're so likely to finish 4th still?) away to soton, we need at least a point and the rest of our away fixtures are much more straight forward. If we can take better control in those fixtures, and maintain our home form, we could surprise some people.

Like it was said, we should have gotten points from both city and chelsea. What many don't realize about hull is that when we played them, they were on fire at home.
