nice gestures between the fans at the end of the match, saw this little boy(liverpool fan) go to their stand and give fives to the atletico madrid fans

I know the Chelsea match is important, but if we would have held on for the win, we could have rested more players for longer because we could have secured qualification a week earlier.

It's easier to use the art of deceiving (dribbling) when you receive an honest tackle rather than you're hold off (not sure I got right the word, I mean wait without tackling).

I think Riera did a good game.

That was a well executed 'dummy' his team mates let him down by not getting on the end of it.

Im dead pis.sed of we conceded but on the other hand still unbeaten.

Xabi for me was Liverpools best player followed by Riera

An the new , star of the film Missing In Action Yossi Benayoun,

Its a good job Johnny Rambo came on ( Dirk Kuyt ) an saved his ar.se

Hmm, I'll have to watch it again mate (I didn't see it twice, went to WC :D) , it seemed to me that it was not a situation for a dummy.

pepe - superb . Arbeloa - dodgy . Agger - didnt do anything wrong and ball to kuyt was superb , getting back to form . Carra - solid until he let that ball bounce . Dossena - one of his best games for us . Looked more solid . Masher - tidy overall a few sloppy passes . Xabi - outstanding . Gerrard - looked tired . Reira - another good game . Yossi - toilet . Keane - ok . Good finish but quiet overall . Kuyt - looked good when came on . Outstanding cross for babel. Babel - starting to look threatening . Lucas - didnt really do much

I couldnt belive the space and run on goal we gave atletico in the 2nd half, wtf has happened to our defending this season, and we're still not scoring much either

Ah well a draw is ok I guess, important match up next

Arbeloa - dodgy

I can understand the mates that appreciate Arbeloa's football.

But sometimes, just sometimes, he does some shocking decissión. Like today that ball with the head to his own box that was by far the best atletico assist in the first half.

i think the chelsea game (away) after this match is seen as more important to rest players for compared to the later games...

the league game after madrid at home is west brom (h)

the league game after marseille at home is west ham (h)

the league game after PSV away is hull (h)

dossena = rubbish. arbeloa = poor and aurelio = not good enough. thats why we're defending like school kids
shamrock rovers and liverpool are not a matter of life and death to me. they are much more important than that.

:D Nanny its Hansen by the way.

Pitch was crappy and the ref and linesmen couldn't have a less fair game tbh.
