i have to admit it annoys me when things are going wrong and they ask rafa about it,and he makes out he has not got a clue whats going wrong with the team. come off it if we can see whats up, then a genius...cough..cough like rafa can too.

try something different:
                                            Reina
   Carra               Skrtel                           Agger            Dossena
   El Zhar             Lucas                       Mascherano           Aurelio
                                            Keane
                                           Torres

Subs: Cavalieri, Hyypia, Arbeloa, Alonso, Babel, Kuyt, Riera

If we start with that team we will get hammered!
If Rafa has any sense he will have Carra and Hyypia as CBs,There will be crosses and an ariel threat,Carras experience and Hyypias ariel dominance over Skrtel and Agger every day of the week in this game!
Alonso should start in the middle not Lucas because basically is cack and even a way below par Alonso is miles better!
I agree with giving El Zhar a chance but dont think Rafa will start him.
There is gonna be a very hostile reception on Sunday, best stick with experienced players who can keep their cool!
I really hope Mascherano does'nt get TOO fired up if things get a little physical out there which there is every chance of happening.

Foulgandering

                                Reina

Arbeloa         Carragher          Agger/Skrtel             Aurelio

Kuyt            Alonso              Mascherano            Dossena

                  Torres              Keane

Subs: Cavalieri, Skrtel, Hyypia, Lucas, Babel, El Zhar, Nemeth.

Since there isnt much too choose from on the left, I'd pick Dossena, at least he's decent going forward and will retain the ball better than Babel. Plus, he'll give us better shape than Benayoun. Kuyt on the right because he's defensively aware and can hold the ball up reasonably well, his attitude, experience may be needed in this kind of game - just hope he has a good game. El Zhar is the other option but Villa Park is a tough place to go, and characters/cool heads are needed. Keeping a clean sheet may well be a higher priority than scoring. Keane must start alongside Torres as they represent - by far - our greatest attacking threats.

I could see Lucas being deployed somewhere, in order to choke the midfield - and hope we have enough in Torres and Keane to get a goal.

I hope Riera gets a few minutes against Villa as making his debut in front of the kop against the mancs might be a bit much for him.

We should play our strongest 11 for every match and put 3 points in the bag.

Dont understand why people want to p!ss around with the team with untested players, stick to what we know.

Well what exactly is our best eleven?  Because the teams that we have used in the last 3 games, produced some of the most disgusting football that I've seen in a long time, from a top side.  We are not going to win at Villa, if we play both Benayoun and Kuyt on the wings again.
