ARSENAL VS LIVERPOOL

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I am telling you that it was either Zenden in the center or Pennant on the right. Zenden actually looked alright. He didn't really create a spark but he didn't give the ball away hardly at all. Say what you will about Zenden but at least he is not a complete disaster like Pennant was when he came on.

Our problems are no were near as deep rooted as some people are suggesting. We were outdone today by the best footballing side in England on their own turf. We more than matched them in the first half but a conceding a poor goal cost us.

We seem to be having problems in midfield at the moment, Alonso is the only player for me who is having an impact in games. Gonzo is struggling to find any consistency with in games and Gerrard is struggling period.

We have a good squad of players and no rash reactions are needed. It’s just about sorting out problems with individual players.

Agreed with you, Gerrard needs to find his form, whether he plays on the right or center he still needs to find his form! Even when he switched to the center he was still awful! We need to find our away form that we should last season and we need to find it now and not later.

The opportunity is there around Christmas time to have an extended run of wins.

granted they have been difficult games but to not get any points from them is not good enough.  Hard games or not we should be picking up points.

exactly. Its a plus point as far as our future away games go... but thats not really a plus point.

Utd went to bolton and won 4-0

arsenal went to utd and won 2-0

Going away to those teams listed above it should not be impossible to win... if your team is at the top level it should be possible for you to win. Our team is obviously not at the top level.

The problem is RAFA .... we all know recently he been link with some clubs in Italy ... If he agrees to go ... he need to pay some money to Liverpool but if he keep losing and Liverpool have no choice to sack him. On top of that Liverpool still need to pay him ....

just stop posting. You are an effront to academia and to logic.

CHLuke is right though. Our schedule will be easier in the coming weeks. A winger like Kewell would solve a lot of our problems at the moment.

The next game will be a huge test. We almost never win away to Boro so I hope we can man up and win this game.

Agreed, He has to find his form quickly. But Liverpool just cant rely on him picking up his form and carrying the team again like he did before. All of the players have to play with conviction and believe that they can win games again.

It is not really comparable. Bolton lost their form before they played Unt and Nolan the best player in their team was suspended.

Are you having a laugh? Arsenal have been P*ss poor this season at home and I think the only wins have been against promoted clubs. Today they weren't even that good, we were just :censored:.

I refuse to blame the fixture list for our results this year as well, if wwere going to win the league we would have beaten Sheffield away (like chelsea did to Wigan last season) and we would have beaten Bolton away (again like Chelsea did last season). Against Arsenal, Manure and Chelsea away we should have got at least 2-3 points if we were gonna win the title but we didn't even look like getting 1.

I think people believe we are better than we actuality are, last season gave people unrealistic expectations. I’m not saying that this is how I expected the start of the season to go, but I sure didn’t expect us to be toping the league.

That’s the problem, we were never good enough to win the league this season, fans had unrealistic expectations.

Mate, many Liverpool fans would expect too much after how we did last season, this is football! I agree with you I didn't expect to top the table and didn't expect to do badly either!

This is one crazy game  :Oo:
