sick of hearing that BS!

It's the truth, if we weren't so slack at the back and took the chances we created, we'd be near enough top of the table, I'd hardly expect Rafa to come out to the press and say anything else.

its not the truth all the time though.  just like today there has been games where we have created no clear cut chances.  how can Rafa say "we created chances today".

just like the game at Old Trafford.  We have shown nothing upfront!

I agree we didn't create many but we do create chances and we did today, if Gerrard's shot sailed in, Crouch was onside for his disallowed goal and Bellamy was onside for his header, we would have scored three goals. However I doubt that's important now, I cannot see us challenging for the title now, I had a ray of optimism heading into this match, but not now and I don't think any cup trophy can paper over the misery in the league.

Every time we have gone behind this season, I have never seen Gerrard suddenly increase the level of his performance and lift the team like he usually does. Something is clearly wrong

Over here in my parts of the world, the Steve McMahon was one of the pundits, and when he took a look at the Liverpool teamsheet, he predicted that Arsenal will thrash Liverpool. He was particularly surprised and upset that Zenden and Gonzalez started, which meant definitely that Gerrard will be on the right and Zenden in the middle.

if you score all the ocasions it won't be football it will be handball
when we got 3 occasions in 90 mins it was never possible to win

exactly.

...one thing is clear the lack of funding and rafa`s need to bring in new players has resulted in us buying players that clearly are not going to be good enough, like everyone here i was looking forward to a good season but the alarm bells should of started ringing in pre-season when we looked very dodgy indeed.

sort it rafa where going backwards.

but it didnt sail in, and they were offside so its a strange comment to make.

we dont win from missed chances, we cant say 'if' mate, thats not what the game is about. when the chances go astray we need to create more and not have the 'oh well we have an excuse' mentality.

one goal away from home all season, i cant put my finger on it, i know i said we should play 442 away from home, we did that today and it got us nowhere.

i think its time to give fowler an extended run in the team, at least he knows where the goal is

if Gerrard isn't happy with how Rafa runs things then why don't he just put in a transfer request and be done with it.  He cost us the 3rd goal today and its a joke a player who earns 100k a week acts like that.

100K and a guaranteed starting place is what's wrong with Gerrard, Rafa doesn't have balls the drop him for a match or a few matches. I don't care if he's our "best player" or our "skipper" he either needs to blot out whatever problems he's having off the pitch and raise his game or risk being dropped. Someone mentioned him playing on the wing is the problem, but last season he was on song on the right wing, so I doubt it's that.

It's also a bit harsh to single him out, I don't think one player played particularly well for us today, and most people had a poor game with a few players playing an average game at most.

cut the poor guy some slack, its high time some of the other players started taking more responsibilities as well....Zenden and Gongalves were mere passengers today.....

At this level you cant afford passengers and unfortunately we had a couple today. As against the Mancs we flattered to deceive. Played half decent without creating much till they scored and just went down hill after that. 3 -0 and we were lucky to get nil ! Carra could have been sent off and they could have had at least 2 more goals. To say im p!ssed off is an understatement.

our goal difference is a disgrace.  Our away record is the worst in the league which is a joke!!!  Do we get the best out of Kuyt? No.  Did we get the best out of Nando and Cisse?  No.

It doesnt matter who starts up front I just think Rafa fails to get the team playing in a way which creates chances for strikers.  We cant look at the crouch and bellamy disallowed goals and somehow think we were unlucky today.  We were not good enough and in terms of quality Arsenal looked a class above us.  sharp accurate Passing, technique, movement came from one side today and it wasnt us.
