Yep, best available team. It does throw up a potential problem once Torres is fit again, because we have a 20 million quid striker who doesn't get into the best team. Still, I'll say no more on that one or civil war will break out and I'll be Rafa bashing, hoping we lose, etc etc.

I know Aurelio's been injured, but that aside if we'd continued playing that team or as close to it as possible, I firmly believe we'd be a few points better off in the league than we are now. Course we'll never know one way or another as it's only an opinion, but there it is anyway.

Cant see how people can say you are wanting us to loose etc - yeah it does bring up a problem when torres gets back but for me keane has to loose out most of the time if he isnt scoring - hence why i didnt want to spend 20 mil on him . but if he is playing well then things are different and would expect one of masher or xabi to drop out and gerrard to drop a bit deeper. not a bad problem to have and gives us options depending on the oppostion etc .

Arsenal 3-1 Liverpool

WTF? ????

Have you seen Arsenal play lately? And you say a 3-1 loss for us?
We play better against the bigger teams, Arsenal are there for the taking and you post sh!t like that?

you forget Dawson that aCe is an Everton fan. Never a good word for the men in Red.

give it a break   :O

they'v had their share of ad results but theyv also beaten ManUtd and Chelsea so far and they did it missing quite a few players... right about now they have most of their good players back and if u'v seen em play they focus mainly on Persie, Adebayor, Nasri and Fabregas and the fullbacks coming from behind... everyone else basically passes the ball around trying to give it to an impact player who can make something happen... i think theyr a better side than theyr showing atm and its just a matter of time before theyr right back in the title race... if its their dy theres simply no stopping them... we'r too defensive and if we go a goal down early on i dont see us coming back...

would be great if we can win this... would probably end their title ambitions in all honesty... but i just cant see it happening.. if that makes me an everton fan then so fckin be it.. Osman for England  :D

Dont be daft mate its a good point, personally I think his days are numbered. Say that was Crouch on the bench at the weekend, do you reckon he'd have got on? I do and that says to me Rafa just doesnt fancy keane ive also a good idea Rafa wanted Barry with the money not Keane because its almost as if Keanes not his "mistake" so theres no need to persevere, just get as much back as possible.
This is me trying to read between the lines mind, I could be well off.

Yeah Arsenal are a better side, they are great...SOOOO fuc'king great in fact that they are probably out of the title race!

But they pass the ball about waiting to give it to an "impact" player. But we are so defensive, well if that is true then we are home with our di'cks out
So defensive yet top of the League?
So defensive yet still Top with the best player in the world injured?
Knowing that he will be back..does that not install even the tiniest bit of optimism in your brain?

Silly question..you are overtaking Heimdall..I dont agree with Lee J by the way,I dont think you are an Everton supporter,i think you are Gary Neville!

So would you not be to upset if we lost 3-1 seeing as thats what you expect? You must be happy with the season so far because havent you predicted a few loses? Then you probably predicted wins agaist the likes of Stoke. Just wondering like.

no we'r the best side in the league going forward thats why we'r top of the league  :kungfu:

Torres is the best forward in the world and if him coming back doesnt make us look better going forward i quite honestly have no idea what will ...

Back to the Arsenal game though... i see you're expecting an easy win given the tone... well.. they'r a sht team but they still managed to beat Chelsea and Manutd.. two sides that are better than they are... despite their results they still look very good going forward ... same cant be said about us... our best bet would have to be setting up to defend from the go and try to hit them at the counter... hope for the best going forward and keep it tight at the back... we'r a good side when it comes to defending and much of that has to do with Benitez and his tactics...all credit to the manager... b ut we'r yet to find the right balance between attack and defense especially with Torres out of the side.... as i said it could turn out pretty tricky if we go a goal down because i really dont see where us coming back would come from.. if we try to open up the game and attack against a side like Arsenal it would far from favor us...
