dunno, does arsene?

I dont think arsene can.  They are still in the race for the title.

FFS no stream for second half so I had to just sit here sweating on us holding on. Good result, but our performance first half wasn't great and didn't sound any better second half. We need to sort out our problems from set pieces and keep the ball better at Anfield. Another goal from Kuyt would be nice too.

Yes he should because they have more to lose than us.

Anyway nice result I would have taken that before the game. At least its in our hands now and we have an away goal. Walk on...

Good result, great team performance.

We grinded Arsenal out of inspiration, welcome to Europe Wenger !

Special praise for Kuyt today who was immense for us, with his wok rate, shame Benitez didnt see that position for him earlier on in the campaign.

Good result.

12th man at Anfield should hopefully see us through now!

MOTM: KUYT   :wwww

Frig me, never thought I'd see myself post that on here!  :D

Ran his socks off tonight and found the net as well. Still questionable as to his quality being enough for our 1st team but i'll put that to one side for tonight.

Decent result. Infact a bloody good one when all said and done, there was a period second half were we were repelling all borders.

Btw..who calls Kuyt rotten tonight is a c*nt. Aside from almost gifting them a penno. He was by far one of our most efficient players out there - did most of what he was asked to do and a bit extra. No need to rip into him...tonight.

Im happy enough with that scoreline, and if truth be told most of us should be.

Great result, too easy :D Seriously though, we had to weather the strom a bit and we should definately be putting that Nicolas Bendntner bloke on the old christmas card list, and Ok maybe the ref for not giving the Hleb penalty, but other than that, easy peasy. Some of us even predicted 1-1 but far from me to mention it  :D

This time though, saying it's not all over yet is definately not a cliche. They are well capable of coming to anfield and winning comfortably never mind 1-0, so we are going to need a big performance. Like i said before this one though, 1-1 in both legs for me before Reina puts us through with spot kick heroics.

Not really because Walcott is on.

Walcott wasn't half as good as Van Persie IMO

but our performance first half wasn't great

S@int I thought our first half as a decent one, it was Arsenal IMO who were not great. Second half though they totally dominated but ran out of steam by the 70th minute. We did well to hang in there at times and credit to Skertel for the goal-line clearance, and to Kuyt for getting away with loosing a penalty.
