We need to be much better second half. TBH I think we got away with murder first half.

that was tense! Again we concede from a set piece, why is there no concentration? So far Kuyt, Masch and Gerrard have been great. I'm so freaking nervous right now.

he's not the only one that's having bad 1st touches... in fact i thought he was one of our better players... tracking back and winning balls as well as running forward again...

I just wish that we speed up our closing down a bit... the first 10 mins we were doing well... later on arsenal's starting to link together passes... come on... we should go for another goal...

btw torres seems to be having one of those games where he's not into the game... a bit disappointing first half for him...

It's abt time don't you think that a little luck fell our way . I agree with you though we need to pick up the pace and control the game in 2nd half . We had 1 shot and 1 goal , arsenal playing the half better but we have had our chances . Masch seems quiet , MOM so far for me and yes i have been his biggiest critic this season , xabi alonso

I went absolutely mental at Babel for that square ball across our box. F*cking insane, that. As a result, it put us under a lot of pressure. Don't be surprised if Babel doesn't show in the second half. Rafa will not stand for that kind of madness.

Anyway, I think Kuyt bashers will no doubt be feeling like plumbs now if we get a 1-1. That goal is absolutely priceless for this tie. It could eventually see us into the semi's.

We controled after we scored but they've came into it towards the end

Kuyts 1st touch has been poor, but hes been defending from the front well and scored a goal, so, not done bad at all. Babel however... I wont go into detail. Gerrards been looking to Torres alot, I felt he released a few balls to early, or the wrong option (great for the goal tho)
Did Kuyt and Babel switch sides towards the end?

Keep ur conclusions till the end of next season , he has done better then most would have in his first season and he has been marked heavily by toure and eboue

come on reds... we need to go for a 2-1 win... if we can string some passes we know we can attack them as we showed with our goal... it depends on the front 4 of gerrard, torres, babel and kuty to make it work...

I agree that we have to improve, but they have made mistakes aswell. It's common to make more mistakes in this high tension games.

BTW how many French have Arsenal? with the little French I understand, I'd say the french tv commentators support Arsenal like their national team!

god knows, he's like Traore in my view...only a winger. I've love for him to stick these words down my throat inthe second half tho

i'd say we had chances and we haven't been at our best also . 50-50 game , its there for the taking , the 2nd half will tell who wants it more
