That kid cant keep bailing them out, I am not giving up until its mathematicly impossible.

Is right.  :buttrock

And, even if we come up a little short in the end, I couldn't be prouder of how the lads have responded in the last few weeks.  They've shown incredible bottle to claw their way back into the title race and they've been giving everything they have to the cause.  A couple of them could barely stand up at the final whistle last night (Alonso's legs were gone when he was trying to put one last ball into the box) and that's the kind of commitment that's needed.  The lads have the proper mentality now and an appetite for the battle that will serve as a vital foundation for next year.

Yeah thats what I been watching to see for long time.

We had no fear we played total football at times pacing and moving the ball with out worring about losing it this is first stage of becomming a better team this is what I been waiting to see.

I feel untill your team plays with no fear its very hard to win as you always thinking what if's and not thinking what do I do next.

CL final 2005 we was 3-0 we didn't have fear the worst had already happened we played with no fear and to that we come back stronger and stronger and by time we was about to take our pens we knew we was going to win !

thats evolution thats total football and that my friends is what I wanted to see from this team.  :buttrock

From The echo: Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger has promised Liverpool his Arsenal team will give Manchester United a similarly difficult time when they visit Old Trafford in the Premier League next month.

“Don’t worry Liverpool, we’ve got to play at United and we will try to win, so it is still very open,” said Wenger.

They will no doubt have Adebayor and Van Persie back for that game too.

Anyway like cigs said until it's mathematically impossible we must keep the faith.

I was only a kid when we last won the league so wont have appreciated it that much but this is the first time in my lifetime ive watching the team actually challanging so it's a big deal for me.

Interesting stats a few pages back on how many points utd have dropped in the final hurdle last few years too.

If they draw tonight, then I would say that we WON the week.   I think in the middle of the season, people would see it as a missed opportunity, but given the way that we played and our opponent, if we come out of the today in the same points position that we were on Monday, then I would feel that we are closer to winning the league than we were on Monday.

Nothings changed since yesterday we needed them to drop points in two games, and today we still need them to drop points in two games.

I never said it was likely that United would drop points tonight.

Man city, spurs, Arsenal and Boro away...are all games that could spell dropped points for manure. Keep the faith, because most of us had written off the league after that 2-0 defeat to Boro 6 weeks ago

I think before the City game they have the 2nd leg of semi. Before I would have thought Hughes being a former utd boy he would roll over but he is playing for his job so he will have to try and win.
