Anfield staged a memorial service to mark the 18th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster this afternoon.
Organised annually by the Hillsborough Family Support Group to remember the 96 victims of the tragedy, more than four and a half thousand people sat in the Kop to pay their respects.
There were readings from David Moores, Kenny Dalglish and Jamie Carragher while Foster Gillett was also in attendance along with Rafael Benitez and his playing squad.
