I have a problem . My problem is that i think people on this football forum couldn't give to fecks what happens to LFC really . We have had the problems of the last two transfer windows atleast . We've had one manager sacked recently for footballing reason's (maybe /maybe not ) i doubt it ,but that's just my opinion .We've had one man brought in over 12 months ago with one remit and one remit only (they are his words)to find investement in the club . Now he has failed in what he was employed to do . He now from nowhere is able to make decisions on managers sackings ,managers employement . Player sales , player signings , the decor at friggin melwood ffs. All i'm hearing from members on this board is excuses and absolutely no attempt whatsoever to grasp the serious nature of what Gillett ,hicks ,broughton and purslow are doing to our club .

Last season , it was get rid of rafa then we can do the owners . Now ffs its lets get behind roy and the team . It was never about rafa , it's not about Roy , It's all and everything to do with the owners . Have a look at other forums , don't join them just look . You will see thread after thread about action being taken and plans being made to take futher action against our board and owners . People writing letters , people making banners ,people making footy shirts . Campaigns against purslow and broughton , rbs every fecker you can think of . But on here it's no don't bother it's no use , what can we do ? Apathetic mumblings of people who's only interest is who are we going to sign . When you try to explain what's going on your called negative or just a moaner and were sick and tired of hearing it . Well DD lad you were right in one respect , this board and the so called fans on here are no better than any other fans . Youse can't see further than your noses , youse cannot or won't accept the bigger picture . Some of us who've been moaning and groaning for nearly three years that the club was being raped and now it's happened all we get back is , "well i bet your your happy now you can say i told you so " No i'm not happy ,i'm feckin livid that noone still isn't taking on board what's being told to them .

Now some of us are warning you about Broughton and Purslow and there agenda's , do you think we are. sayin it for the good of our health or because we like to fecking talk sh!te or summit . We now get told that were exagerating or taking nonesense , it will be ok ,i'm sure they wouldn't do that blah blah blah . Well some of us hear certain things and no certain people . so when you are being told something it's not mischief making or bollox talk , it's something we been told or something we've found out for ourselves . Noone is saying believe what is said , all that is being asked is not to dismiss it as some sort of tittle tattle . Listen make your own minds up ,but dismiss it as nothing at your own risk .

I've tried to be upbeat about Roy and who he's going to sign or sell or whatever ,but i can't get past them c.unting owners and them to T.wats Purslow and broughton . They are supposed to be here to sell the club , but all there doing is dragging the club deeper and deeper into the abyss , there not doing what they are supposed to do  and to me Our new manger looking at him yesterday looks as if he's aged ten years already .He's on a hiding to nothing i'm telling you , he already is making swipes in the media . He know's ,he's not stupid ffs .He's walked into a sh!tstorm that is LFC and he's going to have to fight like never before or he will fall like the last manger .

I think we all do, just some people moan a lot more than others and would some rather be optimistic than miserable.

Go 'ed then soft lad , give us your opinion , lets have abit of discussion instead of insults . What's on your mind then , what are you worried about ? Where's the forum going wrong . Instead of writing a few lines which include a derogatory remark ,come back with something abit more substancial yer pleb.

I think the lack of trophies is actually causing the division between the supporters on here.  Im sure it will be sunnier on here once we win a trophy or two.

Cracking post, Igor. Agree with everything you've just said. Am I fed up with this forum? F*ckin right I am. Anything I've posted up regarding any kind of protest against the owners and the other two was either shot down with claims of it being stupid, or ill-thought concepts. You only need to read the protest kit thread. Says it all. It's one of the reasons why I've spent most of my browing time regarding LFC over on RAWK by lending my ideas. time and talents to the cause.
I've also posted recently against a brainless retort that I can't debate or talk football, to which I hit back in saying that once football is back on the agenda at Anfield, I'll speak it. This is the mantra I've taken now regarding new-kit digussions, because for now our off field problems absolutely dwarf any issues we've been having on the pitch, and have been a staunch advocate that what is happening off the pitch is directly affecting what's going on on it. Have been of that opinion for quite some time, but of course I was just a blind Rafa supporting zealot with no clue. Now look at us. "Things can only get better" some say? Don't believe the hype. Things can only get worse before they get better. Bet on it.

Agreed mate, you only have read the remarks in ERs protest shirt thread, you`ll hardly find anyone saying what a good job those lads have done and good on them.
There seems to be a general apathy around the board where the owners are concerned, people would rather ignore it or dismiss it.
There seems to be a few posters on here that will have a go at anything done by supporters to try and help the situation, be it protest shirt or SOS march they`ll always have a go at it. I find that strange.

It is a bit of a shame that much of the sentiment expressed in Dundalks excellent topic starter is lost already in a cocophony of drum banging. I don't like the owners any more than the next person, but given the banks and the money men have taken over and the club is being sold without their input, I can't help thinking that SOS and the like have already won this chapter of that particular battle. Whether or not they have, I know from my own perspective being brow beaten and called a disgrace by the likes of ER, being lumped into a group commonly known as "clueless c...s who think it's "ALL RAFA'S FAULT"" does get a bit tiresome sometimes.

On the eve of a new season, I like to come on here and discuss new signings, pretty much like Dundalk. I also feel positive about the new manager. Obviously I had lost faith in the previous one so pretty much anyone would be an improvement in my eyes, and naturally the people on the other side of the debate are of the opinion that pretty much nobody would be an improvement. That's Ok though. It doesn't mean they are imbeciles, but also it doesn't mean those who are made up we've got a chance of getting Cole have their heads up their erses either.

People used to accuse me and others of turning every thread into debates about the same subject. I don't agree with that, but for sure the forum was a bit one dimensional at times and I was as much to blame as anyone else. It's the same way now though. If there's a thread on Insua it turns into one on the owners, and "anyone who can't see it is a fecking idiot".

I don't think Dundalks intention on this thread was to get into yet another debate on the owners (please mate correct me if I'm wrong). Neither do I think he was saying lets have a debate about the previous manager. What he was saying (I think) was lets just for once have a debate about football. A debate which isn't dominated by preconception and dogma, just a nice friendly talk about football.

I could go on (and I normally do), but it'd just get misconstrued and there'd be another row.

This thread was started in the hope that all the Rafa bashing and praising that has been going on could be put to one side and we could all move on and unite as Liverpool supporters and support Roy and the team.

It was not my intention for it to become anything to do with the owners and how fans are or are not reacting to them.

FWIW I have the utmost respect for those working behind the scenes in trying to get the owners out and keeping it in the public eye at all times

And thats absolutly Right Michael. because Roy will get supported and so will the team. well they will from me anyway,Its a strange situation because the team and whoever is the manager has always been my number pne prority, Sadly for me its not the case anymore and it hurts like hell , to have your emotions and your love for this club messed around with by people who know nothing about us, I will be made up if Roy succedes here because i will  understand what he is up against, he would find climbing mount Everest easier than doing this job with all the obsicles he is gonna face, He is gonna be knocked down time and time again , and i just hope he is strong enough to swerve them obsticles, As i said it hurts me that my priority is on getting rid of these said obsticles before i can relax and look at a clear rd ahead,
As Igor has already said the problem is , some are more worried about were we will finish, or which formation we will use, or if this or that fella will be a good buy , should he or him go, upsetting new sponsers , and so on, Tbh its the last thing on my mind who we upset , im more worried about going into a new season and them lot still being here, i know i sound like a sad arl ba.stard but thats the way it is for me, Maybe im wrong i dunno but i just cant get my head around why this is not others priority an all. Maybe thats why there is so many arguments on here its just that some feel more passionate about certain things than others ,

That’s why this (and a couple of other) forums have turned into a bitterfest. EVERY SINGLE THREAD is filled with YANKS OUT...LIARS...BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. If it isn’t that, then it’s doom and gloom merchants saying the world is going to end.

Yes, we get it! Yes, we all want them out, and yes, it is important. But for fecks sake, why must we get it all day, all night. It’s like a fecking broken record. How about keep the owner slagging restricted to the takeover thread? 

That way, we can have FOOTBALL discussions in all of the others. We can also have POSITIVE news...like the prospect of getting Joe Cole for free.

That's not it at all.

You beat me to it. Its not about winning the league or the CL, we've past that point. We're staring at the destruction of our club. Over 40 years I supported this club, its part of my life, a big part. I worry about work, my job, my family and my club. Not winning cups, but the club.

I feel the divide in the fans because some folks have different priorities. Woy is a political posting. Sammy staying on again shows Woy's a temporary appointment plus a nod to the fans. The way KK was sidelined in the managers race, the anguish and disagreement over the sacking of Rafa. The way journalists can state whatever they want in the media these days and the club never responds - we're dead ducks.

Yes, I'm pi$$ed off on this forum at present in case it doesnt show, but until the owners get the hell out and hopefully some respectable and worthy new owners come in, our performance this coming season is a bit of a non event.

Have you had your head up your hole the past few years? The Yanks are liars. That's a proven fact. Nothing conjecture about it. They hired a man who's sole intents and purposes were to find us new owners, or so they'd have us believe, but instead this so called banker is now running transferes in and out of the club and is sacking people? What about the spade in the ground within 40 days or something like that. What about the big wonga spending spree they've been promising the past three years. They talk as much sh*te as anyone on this forum, yet you're not going to question the sincerities of any of their intentions pertaining to this football club?

I agree with what Igor says. I can't remember the last time I spoke to anyone about LFC and it was just about football on the day. Everytime there's a conversation about this club with fans of other teams, the Yanks are always at the forefront of the conversation.
