one thing gerrard h (the boss) has been doing for the past 4 seasons is buying the best young crop of talent from around europe ,and with fine additions of the new french lads ,who no dout are going to  have bright futures at lfc,there,s another young gem in the making and his name is mark smith ,he was the highest scorer in the under 17 title winning team last season and is highly though of by dave shannon (under 17 coach) this young lad can play on the left or as a striker or a flooting role behind the front two .mark smith is also a local lad  and has had a stint across the mersey at tranmere fc ,so watch out for this kid in the next couple of seasons! another lad to watch out for is a scotish lad called  robbie foy who,s another rising star in the making ,he,s so highly fought of ,he was plucked from the under 17,s and given a game in the resserves again,st everton  and  will no dougt make the upgrade to reserves properly this season .
