Its all a matter of personal view and conjecture though mate, I could argue that although Kuyt has scored a few goals, he has cost us many more goals because of his lack of pace, vision, touch, etc etc. While Dossena has been a part of one of the best defences in the prem. Thats the beauty of football

Dossena's played 802 minutes in our 20 games, Kuyt 1732 minutes. Only Reina and Carra have played more - the full 90 minutes in all 20 games.

kuyt is the not the best right sided midfielder in the world, but he does a job for us, and he is still one of us end of. In this article i will agree with Stu, apart from the rose tinted glasses the guy talks some sense, no one has the priviledge of footballing knowledge, even my best poster.

I like Tomkins, I wish that instead of a huge article every now and then he would scale them down and be more topic specific. I agree with 99% of the things that he says though, and without fail there are one liners like the "not happy because they dont like Dirk Kuyt" in every blog post.
