Liverpool have inquired about Luque, Rafa wants to sign him. An official bid will be made soon.

I think he will be a decent signing.

----------Luque----Gerrard------Alonso------Risse

----------------Garcia
----------------------------Cisse

that it? or do you think he will play a 4-4-2 with Fernando and Cisse?

That would be good. I  think at home we should 3-5-3 looking like this.........

Luque-- Gerrard-- Alonso -- Risse

                Garcia

      Morientes -- Cisse

Albert Luque is a terrific player, mark my words. The best performance I say from an individual player in the 2003/04 CL campaign came from Luque in the Deportivo-Milan game when he was EXCELLENT!

He can play as a forward but I reckon he'll be played wide left by us.

He's not Robben or Joaqain, but he's easily as good as Vicente.

That confirms the bid.

Rumours are all around. Don't believe until you wait on last weeks before transfer windows being close. If Luque is heading to us,the midfield is strong enough unless Gerrard is staying put.
But i still prefer Joaquin. :;):

So true he was :censored: immense that game.

He is an excellent player, would love to see him here. If he were to come, Harry 'the waster' Kewell should be shipped out immediately.

Harry should be fired regardless of weather or not anyone comes.

He is a waste of space, time and money.

As JBG has already said....

Albert Luque is a T R E M E N D O U S player.

Very strong, powerful, VERY skilful, awesome left foot, VERY good free kick taker.....AND he's BLOODY F A S T too!!

People in Spain especially know and appreciate just what great sort of hidden talent he is is.

I must disagree with you on one thing though JBG, I think That the Spanish wingers Joaquin, Luque and Vicente are all in the same class, absolutely fabulous footballers all of them.

If I could only pick one of those three for Liverpool, I would find it EXTREMELY hard, for me there's no obvious choice as all of them are just as good as eachother, only that 2 are left wingers and one is a right.

ANOTHER  RUMOUR NOT IN THE RUMOUR THREAD

This is not actually a rumour considering that Deportivo have offically announced that they have turned down a bid for the player from Liverpool. I would say that this is a case of where the speculation has been confirmed :p

I don't think so.Kewell just needs to see a doctor. He IS undertaking surgery.Besides,he gets plenty of  praises before injury. Its just a matter of getting him to be his old self again.

Oh yeah, how much are they bidding for Luque?12 million?
