andy vandermeyde has great pace and can provide briliant crosses for crouch and cisse!

may be the peeps have other players in mind?

alves? cicinho? renato? galletti? etc. etc :buttrock

van de Meyde has looked good in flashes but isnt guarenteed to be the best solution, but if its a inexpensive loan deal could be worth a shout

So because he's linked with them that means they'll sign him for certain? Sissoko,Parker,Forsell, and so many others were linked with Everton. None of them signed for the bitter blues.

He plays on the right does he not?

V der Meyde is quick as hell. His delivery is not always the best but at a couple of mil I'd take him and see what Rafa can do with him.

AVDM is a good choice, but in real terms, I can't see it happening now. For some reason, I think we're gonna have to wait until Jan to see a new Right sided player now. All effort is surely going to go into trying to find a centre half. We have Garcia, Finnan and, as long as doesn't do a Diouf, Cisse who can all hold their own on the right. But if Sami or Carra get injured, is Whitbread really ready? I know that this belongs on another thread really, but Defender has got to take priority over right side, so I don't see us getting one this summer.

........only joking nearly had you there, i reckon AVDM would be a great asset but would prefer him on loan, also there's still hope for figo afer madrids stupid tour. failing that cisse has the pace. or bring back macca!

We shoulda tried to get hld of jermaine pennent when we had the chance.

I no the time has gone but i thought he would have been a decent sqaud player.

Although he might not of had the right 'mentality' espically gettin to training after a bottle of jack daniels.

I also think we should hav got figo as would of filled in untill we had the funds to get another one.
