Hey, I'm a Pessamist!!(sp?) At least I will always be pleasantly surprised!!
I have admitted that this team and this manager will be the making of LFC.
But scoring midfielders does not make a Champion Team be!
(sorry, doing an impersonation of the muppet from Star Wars.)

edited bit: Man U are also the type of gits who never give up (like us in the past) and so their present position in the league is nothing for us to crow about. As I say, I am a Pessimist, capital P, we need more than the few odd goals by our midfielders, we need consistant goals by our main striker and our midfield.
Andy Johnson, derided by many here, has scored 8 premiereship goals in 11 matches. He prolly has the advantage of Baros in that he plays all the time and so can build up a good understanding with his team mates. He is a John Aldridge.

It was sarcasm buddy, you ought to look it up in the big book of English words aka ''The Dictionary".

This is the first time that Baros started starting games instead of being a sub like he once was under Houllier. Both him and Cisse had to adapt to each other therefore you can not expect 20 goals in 10 games. Cisse is injured and that is very unfortunate but Baros is improving. He already has 7 goals, and he can score more.

You're talking about our midfield not being consistent? Our midfield has scored in almost every game. Its better when the goals come from various places than just from the strikers because the team then depends on the strikers to score in every game while we can now score from other places on the pitch.

Ever heard of "Keep the Faith"? If you haven't, now you have.

Oh you were being contumely acidulous? That's alright then. Couldn't have coped with being called optimistic.
My allegiance to LFC hasn't wavered over the past 31 years, but I guess having faith is at the moment like having a firm belief without any logical proof that things are getting better. This season is the start of the 'proof' gathering.
As you can see, I took your advice and consulted my dictionary/thesaurus.:)
