i go out with a geordie so i've been rubbin her nose in it all week! there's just something about women in football shirts! not football slags though.

What a waste of time this thread is. Its Liverpool we are talking about here you idiot, the city I mean not the football club. This whole city is full of families split, often right down the middle between Liverpool and Everton fans. It is this great rivalry that makes the city of Liverpool such a wonderful place to live.

You are really clutching at straws here if you think this is a reason Moores has seemed to fail of late.

i used to have the silver candy shirt. that was quality. also got the yellow crown paints one and the green and white carlsberg shirt. just for nostalgia.

i wore my white carlsberg shrt and we always lost so i gave it to my gf to wear. Then we won a game and i was happy, but hse dumped me... still, we won a game

i sleep in my yellow treble winning away shirt. it was a lucky shirt because we NEVER lost in it.

Leon I'm from Ashfield Gardens, my family were from Ashfield Cottages. When they pulled down Scottie we got moved to Utting Ave and I remember great Liverpool players going to "WORK" on the 17D bus, even had a swing from Albert Stubbins once.
And YES it does matter The traditions of this side were built on the working man passing things down. I never saw it but I know every kick leading to the great Stubbins diving header, I know about Liddle breaking the goalies wrists, I've still got me dad's mac from the Arsenal cup final in 1950 with the red dye from the rosette down the front, I was at Wembley for our first against Leeds,
I was in Rome and I was still there in Sofia this year. This club is more than a hobby with me and my sons, who have both been to the Academy, it is more than a religion. I'm 54 and a performance (not necessarily a result) can still ruin my week. When I see the parasites running this club now I ****** cringe .
If your dad wasn't a red what was he?

I am not questioning your passion for the club, or your length of service, I merely asked where you were from. You must have blue noses in your family, otherwise you must be the only family in Liverpool not to.
