"I asked for a sofa and they bought me a lamp".

Do the maths for gods sake. Why would Rafa want to bring a player here who he was looking to replace for Valencia especially when he has the sofa he wanted to replace Mista with in Cisse...

Can someone please explain this?

totally agree but mista wasn't the "i asked for a sofa and they brought me in a lamp" it was oliveria but rafa was trying to sell him

No, my point is, he already had Mista and Cisse was the sofa he wanted. Oliviera was the lamp.

What i'm saying is, why would he want Mista at Anfield when he wanted to replace Mista in Valencia's starting line-up with Cisse?

Ah yes but maybe Cisse is a sofa, Mista a lamp, Olivera is just a throw over and Diao and Biscan are a couple of candle sticks ?

We need someone better tho dawson99.

Not just another number. I'm sick of this attitude by people. If you want to improve you have to sign something BETTER than we already have. Bringing Owen back and letting Baros get his dream move and bringing in Beattie would be a good start.
