Assuming Rafa were to go in the summer - bear in mind the following ?
Who replaces him ?
How much money in the kitty ?
Will there be an exodus of players following him ?
Do you trust these American clowns ?

I said the same thing weeks ago, Rafa goes then so will a handful of players.  Reina, Alonso and eventualy Torres.

Andwhat are you basing that on, have you spoken to the players, unless we sell them they aint going anywhere! And if Torres turns into a cry babay becuase papa Rafa leaves then feck him we'll flog him for £60 million and get someone else, problem solved.

BTW wasn't Rafa trying to sell Alonso in the summer??

How are we going to attract fesh blood into this forum when all we do is slg off the team, the manager, eachother, parry, Moores, the owners etc... its tedious lads, freakin tedious.

OK here's an idea why don't you start a thread then, instead of just b1tching about it all the time. Maybe new members want to talk about how much they dislike Rafa, did that ever cross your mind? As you may have noticed not everybody is blindly devoted to the current regime.

On another point I do find it incredible how I get 2 cards for more or less feck all while Lando can stomp around the boards for ages, insulting and threatening people and creating untold flame wars as much as he wants and only very occasionally gets into trouble. There is such a huge bias in his favour and its sad because its damages this forum.

Ok I understand the point but it doesnt work like that in all honesty.  In 2007 we actually looked the better team but it just didnt go our way while in 2005 they were better but shocked by the comeback

Stay, one more season.  If he goes the chances of Man U getting their 19th title sky rocket imho, if he stays the chances are smaller, slightly but smaller nonetheless.

So you mean sack Rafa when Whiskyface announces his retirement so both clubs start the next season from weakened positions? I can see the sense.

When whisky goes, we have to be ready to seize the chance to brush them aside whilst they are disorganised.

No, I don't mean one more season and fire him no matter how we perform.  At the very least one more season, that's all I said.  If we can repeat this season or improve on it on top of a medal or something I would give him even more time.

In my case one for having an argument with another poster, who happened to be a pro, although I did not swear or anything else, although I admit I was being a bit childish.

The second was for allegedly misquoting a MOD which was a bit naughty although accidental and it was blown out of all context, I was in fact completely banned for several days.

Would have to agree is better to talk about something than nothing. In the two week break it was dead like hell here and look now we fecked up against citeh and the place is booming again...

Why?
We will still be LFC with our history and heritage
They will still be on boss wages and loved by the fans in exactly the same way as before
We would still be in the running for various trophies

Why would they want to leave?

because history and heritage don't win you trophies... respected world class coaches do .. and like it or not Rafa fits that elite group..  and he attracted the big names to LFC.. i gurantee u Martin O'Nei would not have been able to sign Torres for LFC if he were manager.. put Rafa in the equation.. and u get Torres, Alonso, Reina, Mascherano.. Kuyt 

Take him out and u create uncertainty and unless a WC coach is appointed, the good and the great won't wait for another building programme to take shape...

People are frustrated and want Rafa out - thats understandable but great leaders have to persuade their backers to support them with the means to defeat the enemy, not just words. England's history is full of great vistories when admirals and generals wupped asses all over the world but even they started as lowly 2nd Luitenants (bast@ard of a word to spell).

Rafa isnt world class yet, his 'ships' arent world class as his 'government' isnt willing to invest in the arms/ships that he needs.

England built the greatest empire ever seen as we had political backing = money, the best ships, cannons and the best trained sailers.

Write all the b-o-r-i-n-g threads you like but dont waste my time and everyone elses jumping up and down screamng because you dont like it when if he was fired the next guy coming in wouldnt do any better becuase he too wouldnt have the support, money or players to win the league either.
