also, we were never seven points ahead of the mancs with the same games played. they've had games in hand all season after having to play the super cup in august and then go to the world club cup. the most we've been ahead of them was eight points but they had two games in hand at that stage.

Are you saying that games in hand is the same as points on the board?

I dont understand why anyone is particularly @rsed about media rants. I couldnt give a stuff personally as long as the team wins, if that means no rotation then fair enough but if he can win using that method that's even better.
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

I can't see were anyone as called them a c.nt or told them to f.uck off or called them a tw.at or an idiot Taff?

I don't think anyone minds having their opinion challenged, just not the insults and abuse that seems to go with it.

And that seems to be the prerogative of the pro's.

Part of my pride in being a liverpudlian is being able to laugh at the antics of other teams managers waffling shi.ite and talking bollo.cks
I have personally took the pis.s out  of many opposing fans because of their managers statements in the media
I cant do this any more

That was not my point Saint.  Ok lets cut to the chase, Lando offers abuse but when he posts a decent reply then nothing just more criticism of Rafa.  People are just not interested in debate

Stay for now but judge him after this season. Honestly, anyone think we over achieved this season rather than underachieved? I think we played more bad games than good. So, i believe we overachieved as it is likely we are simply not as good as we think we are. If you ask me right after the City game, i would say leave. Money will always be a problem for us and no way we will have the power of Man U, Chelsea and now Man C. Therefore, we need to be realistic and we don't have the reserve to win in a long season. Anyway, hope we win the CL and get second in the league. I will be satisfied with that.

its not necessarily the fact that we may finish second, thats great, in fact if that was offered before the start of the season I would have taken it. But the manner in which we are there is what annoys me, we could very easily be top but our failure to be able to break teams down (particularly at Anfield) has cost us dearly. We've beaten Chelsea twice, Man U and drawn at the Emirate. Thats a great record right there, but what does it count for when we go to lesser sides and drop points.

Id be happy with second dont get me wrong, but I'll never forget the manner in whcih it was achieved
